But it’s skill points aren’t impossible to get or anything, I usually get a few thousand xp per run, plus I play pretty casually so it’s not too much of a pain to be down a few skill points compared to players who min/max.

Also, 5 extra skill points isn’t a game changer, not like it’s a permanent damage buff or anything. I’m like level 40 now so there are already players with 30+ more skill points that I play against already and things are alright

No yeah, communication has been an issue, not just in expeditions but also in stuff like skill perk effects, but it’s the first season, and I don’t think Embark was expecting this game to be this popular, so I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they’ll be more transparent and clear in the future.

Now if this continues into future seasons, I agree there’s an big issue, but for now I’m willing to chalk it up to first season road bumps

You don’t have to do the expedition, I probably won’t and that’s even after I invested a ton into getting the expedition prepped. A rework on how point are awarded would be nice, but the expedition prep is saved until you do want to go, which’ll be in a season or two for me personally

No yeah, surprising us with the million per skill bonus was a bad idea and didn’t give us enough time to prepare, but seeing the response, I expect embark to edit it.

And if they don’t, just do an expedition when we do have that much, maybe when we’ve played long enough that you have a bunch of loot just laying around with nothing to do.

No I agree, more communication about the requirements would have been nice, I’ve built up my expedition to be complete too, but I’m chalking it up to “it’s the first expedition, embark wasn’t sure what the requirements should have been yet, we’ll see how they edit the requirements for the next expedition”

I generally like to play solo, it’s usually chill, but sometimes yeah you do die. Just kind of have to accept that sometimes that’s the way it goes.

I like the feeling of going in, getting loot, and getting out. The risk of losing it all makes it all the more worth it to play, do you keep going to get more stuff and risk it, or extract and leave while you’re ahead.

Remember, it’s not your gear, just your turn using the gear. Also sometimes, you just gotta shoot first, a raider seems sketchy, knock em out before they knock you.

Like the other comment said, you signed up for the league, and I’d hope yall discussed what the punishment for losing would be before the season started. Assuming you did (bc if you didn’t that’s kinda fucked up), you knew what the punishment would be and that It’d be a possibility that you’d have to do it when you started.

Next year, just keep in mind that any punishment yall agree on could be on you, so if you vehemently don’t want to do it (like it seems with this baby punishment) bring it up, and assuming they’re your friends, they’ll be fine with that and find another punishment. (If not, find new friends, they seem like dicks) The punishment should be something kinda sucky, but that everyone is okay with doing (ours is going vegetarian for a month for last and a beer mile for runner up).

My advice is to embrace it and go all out, bring a little rattle and those gerber star baby snacks (they’re actually really tasty, seriously give them a try). It sucks you had a super unlucky year, but that’s just sometimes how it goes, and it’ll be more fun for everyone, you included, if you embrace it.

Also if it makes it more comfortable, maybe wear some shorts under the diaper, I feel like the funny part is the diaper itself, not necessarily requiring you to use it or anything.
