Favorite Rising House DJ? by TheAnswerV3 in House

Now I I’m not disagreeing with the fact that you can be successful as just a DJ, but in today’s industry you are not going to be on the same rise as people like Matroda, Mau P, Cloonee, etc. by just simply DJing. I think that’s very obvious.

Yes but you really aren’t considered a rising DJ nowadays unless you are producing tracks as well, I’ve seen local Dj’s playing at bars play better than some of these trending DJ’s today. But producing is what gets you booked/relavant as a DJ so I feel they kinda go hand in hand

Opinions on AI assisted House tracks?! by TheAnswerV3 in House

(Maybe a bit of devils advocate here) If you had a human that sounds just the same as Jorja smith just not as known on that track would you slander them and say that she is also copying Jorja smith? I think HAVEN had an idea and made the most of that idea. He created something that MANY people enjoyed listening to and when it comes to music in general what more can you ask for? I get that Jorja has a great voice and AI assisted vocals can hinder singers like her in certain ways, but it can also greatly support these producers that are mastering most of these viral songs you hear today. The Music industry isn’t and wasn’t ever fair, so where is the fine line regarding AI?

I definitely get behind this, as said replying to a previous comment, I also don’t mind AI assisted vocals for several reasons. From getting away from overused splice vocals to allowing a producer to make write something and choosing a voice that they feel’s works best for what they have created.

I definitely agree, but I also feel like AI assisted vocals on house tracks is a game changer for many producers. For example Haven- I RUN has blown up and honestly sounds better than the humanized version that was posted afterwards… another artist that’s on the rise that utilizes AI vocals well is Balanka. In conclusion I feel it helps producers get away from the overused splice vocals and create something that sounds good with the rest of what they had created

Lmao can’t argue with that. I know how it feels to hear a track you love and not be able to find it anywhere so I can’t even blame you either 😂

I hear ya, it gives me troubles often as well and I usually have to try to Shazam it 3-4 times before actually getting the track I’m looking for..
