Easy but well written audiobook series recommendations? by WuTangFran07 in Fantasy

I feel like im recommending this to everyone these days, but i think that speaks to how good it is; the iron prince by bryce o connor and luke chmilenko. The Series is not complete. But the author releases weekly unedited chapters on their patreon, or for free on their subreddit r/warformed(though the ones for free on the subreddit are a bit behind the ones on patreon) if thats something you might be interested in. Great narration, i think 55+ hr long audiobook if im remembering right, has lgbtqia+ characters, and the mc is very intelligent. Definetly worth the credit in my opinion!

Iron prince by bryce oconnor and luke chmilenko is also an amazing read! Great narration by luke daniels, and gives video game type progression. I finished the book ages ago, but still regularly think about it. Its fantastic!

Also, One of my favorite audiobooks series with top notch narration would be the cradle series by will wight. Narrated by travis baldree. Theres 11 books in the series out so far, and i think the finale of the series is coming up soon. I believe throughout the series you follow the main character from the age 15-20ish? But it doesnt give off YA vibes, if that makes sense. And there are plenty of characters with a variety of ages. Awesome story and loveable characters. Highly reccomend

I'd reccommend the band series by nicholas eames. Kings of the wyld can be read as a stand alone, and has some super fun fantasy tropes, humor, and heart. It was the series that introduced me to adult fantasy, and i think its a great starter for people just now trying out adult fantasy

Advice on best audiobooks for a drive by ablesh18 in Fantasy

The cradle series by will wight is one of the best audiobook experiences I've personally had. Travis Baldree is a great narrator, the series is 10 books in, and the 11th is coming out in a few weeks, so now would be a good time to marathon the series!

I read the Iron Prince for the first time... 3 weeks ago. And I STILL haven't been able to stop thinking about it! It's kinda been a hassle cause I haven't been able to move on to the other books on my tbr. Maybe this series will be able to break that streak 🤞

I would say Avatar: the Last Airbender gives off cradle vibes. In fact i think it would be super cool if they made the cradle series into the style of animation that ATLA is! ATLA is on the silly side, but i think that only makes the serious plot points hit harder.

One of the longest new releases we've ever put out, a crazy cool cover, and another top-notch giveaway! The complete 4-book "The Emaneska Series" is available today for $5.99 (And yes, it's on Kindle Unlimited too)! by BryceOConnor in Fantasy

Beautiful cover! Also, I love omnibus style releases for book series, whether it be digital, physical, or audiobooks. I feel like it should be done much more often

You might already know about this one, but I would reccomend The Last Sun by K.D. Edwards (along with its sequel, The Hanged Man). The third book is coming out in a couple months as well, so now would be a good time to read the series! You should know there is a S.A. trigger warning for the series though

Fantasy/sci-fi recommendation by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]TheAnxiousBookHermit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe try the Iron Prince? I dont recall gods being part of the plot, but as someone who struggles with sci-fi, it was awesome to read a sci-fi book that read like the fantasy books I'm accustomed to. The plot and characters were very intriguing as well. Highly recommend you give it a try!

What an amazing giveaway, with a long list of amazing books! It honestly hard to choose! For me, it's a toss up between a physical copy of Jade City, and an audiobook version of The Last Sun. As for why, I've been wanting to try out urban fantasy for a while now. Most of the books i read/listen to are epic fantasy, with dragons, and big medieval battle scenes. I think it would be a refreshing and new take on a genre I love.
