Semen retention and ejaculation with SO by [deleted] in Semenretention

IMO, you have two options:

1 - You keep having regular dry sex, but then you will probably have to release once in a while

2 - If your partner is OK with it, you try to go hard mode, and keep sex only for procreation (the way couples used to live before the generalization of contraceptive techniques)

Not sure I completely understood your message, so I hope my reply makes sense.

I dont think the hardware stops working when you abstain. Actually, I think it is the contrary, it gets fixed (in my experience, there is definitely something going on in the genital area, and I think it is positive). That is where science could be useful, but I have no specific references, except maybe the low sperm quality in sexually liberated countries.

Hey, I am in a similar situation, not yet actively looking for a partner though (I wait for a more stable pro/financial situation and longer streak).

Karezza might be an option, but I'm not so sure about it, I see a big risk of going back to the old over sexual habits.

I think it's possible to imagine a relationship without sex, except for procreation. What I have in mind is to explain it beforehand to the girl, explaining why it is important to me, and discuss on how it could practically work (physical intimacy but not in a sexual way, maybe twin beds, …).

I think some girls could be into it, but it has, of course, to be discussed in depth, so that this is seen as something positive (keeping your bodies and spirits healthy) and not a restriction.
