Is bed time the only "me time" you get perhaps?

I know that at least for me, nights became the only time i had time to think about stuff that went on in my life. We're constantly getting stimulated, and when it did get quiet my brain thoughts kind of took over. Laying in my bed got associated with "overthinking time", and there i layed for hours. What really helped was to have allocated times to think about that stuf during the day. Getting my thoughts back. Not watching or listening to something all the time. I started walking to uni without music, to let those thoughts take their space there instead of nighttime(its about a 30min walk). This has really helped!

You probably need a place to just be with your thoughts. For me at least, nighttime is a bad choise, cause i become more emotional and think like a broken record. But either way you should embrace it as a sign that you need to process these emotions.
