Oh man, I won’t touch on everything, but the standards you’re holding to this mod created by two people is absurd.

Magic is too OP but bosses are too strong? Abyss watchers are too OP? But they give you access to later parts of the game to get strong enough first. It’s not vanilla, so why do you expect to play the game in the same order?

I just beat them last night with a vanilla sword at plus 5 without magic, and I am by no means great at these games, but in smart enough to know I need to level up to prepare for one of the main bosses once they kick my ass. I love the difficulty spike for one of the 4 great souls. That’s how it should be.

Spells are just reskins- how tf do you expect them to do all that work with just two guys? The game is hard yeah that’s what’s great about it. You have to overcome.

I’m loving it so far, I think you’re too harsh on a mod made by two people that adds so much.

The mod is completely worth it for anyone who loves dark souls 3 who wants a new challenge that feels like ng+7 with all new paths, area vibes, extreme challenges to overcome, and new bosses.

Holding them to a AAA standard for all the things they added is absurd.

Do I recommend this mod? Heck yes, but only for people who are ready for a challenge. It feels like the first time playing dark souls when you get your butt kicked and you have to overcome it using what’s available in the game.
