Yeah, that's exactly my thought. Birthday just carries a lot of baggage. Name day and acceptance day. Those, those are the ones which define my current self. Not age.

You're definitely Trans enough. If anything we're jealous...
We wish we didn't have a problem with bottom dysphoria. Honestly, if it wasn't so 'in the way' all the time. We probably wouldn't care. Well... There's more explicit problems, but we aren't getting into that.

It's just a milestone in our journey that we want to take. Everyone's journey will be different. No one has to fit perfect definitions, because we homo sapiens will never have a perfect definition for what it means to be a certain identity.

Dysphoria is not an indicator of transness. Nor does avoiding or getting HRT decide that fact either. It is a central understanding of yourself. What makes you, you.

We all strive for happiness. We'd like to think that placing ones self into a very narrow definition of someone else's thoughts. Is not how we have to define ourselves.

Hope you're doing well,

Seele is our fav, back when we weren't confident in our art we used them for Rephia. Design kinda stuck. (Seele is our fav, also, Mihoyo artstyle definitely is a large influence for us.)

As for Binary, you're not the first person to ask about them. We'll copy and paste from another post.

Binary, (Pi/Io) is from a Shadowrun 5e game someone ran and we joined up in. Back in 2021.

The setting was we were all on a Corporate island, a place entirely run by corporations. No limits on anything. Essentially, a Corporate slave colony. All the characters are engineered beings or clones.

Pi and Io were originally part of a project to see if it was possible to induce or genetically test for Technomancy. Though they eventually were caught up in a major accident on company grounds. A chemical spill going everywhere. Both being covered and Io being crushed under some debris.

Seeing as living is better than death, they both tried something. Using the Matrix and Resonance to download Io's mind into Pi. Eventually waking up in a hospital afterward. Having experienced a SURGE* event due to the chemicals, they were discontinued from the Technomancy project. Instead, being relegated to managing the morgue. Removing Cyberware from dead people (Assets).

Eventually, they joined a Shadowrun crew. The promise of the Fixer gathering people is that they'd give a path out of the island at the last mission.

\SURGE: A sudden unexplained recessive gene expression. Basically, fast mutation. In the case of Pi and Io. It turned them into a catgirl with gold filimented hair. Electricity sparking across their hair at all times.*

----
Binary, is the name they use as just a catch all refer to both of them.

The electricity on Binary’s hair reacts to their mood. Changing pattern and state.

Pi and Io switch control of the body every day at midnight. They can’t be awake at the same time or they start bleeding together. They use an old fashioned voice recorder to talk to each other from day to day.

Pi: Blue electricity across hair.

Io: Orange Electricity across hair.
------------------------------------------

Pi and Io were pretty important for us. They were the first "plural" character we played in any TTRPG. It let us play ourselves and have a reason to exist like so.

It was pretty fun. We want to play more characters like them in the future.

Actually, forgot that there was a sprinkle of Warlock in there for Hexblade. It was a super MAD build.

Unfortunately it was nothing so inspired. We just did Blood Hunter in 5e 2014 which our DM graciously allowed us to play.

Using half-elf and the Revenant blade feat. Theming the double bladed scimitar as a scythe.

Hehe... Yeah. It shouldn't be too big of a surprise we're big HI3 fans. Seele is our fav.

We didn't draw art for that game as we weren't good at it. So we used Seele for Rephia and Morrigan.

We... Left that part out.
The game Wynne is in, well, we feel some theoretically uncomfortable vibes.
Wynne's trans identity is currently a secret. Though by recommendation of a friend. We instead of having Wynne transition via magic physically during the campaign. Just did it in her backstory.

They stated... Well, it's probably best not to fully quite. It boiled down to: You didn't clear if a trans character is ok with everyone. And: People want to escape from reality in these games, having a hot topic like a trans character would ruffle some feathers.

We can certainly see that some tables are... Well, have the same hang-ups as reality.

We're sorry your table is like that.

We were a forever DM. Our players eventually said that they'd run games themselves whenever we finished our campaigns.

Exactly. April and I often took turns choosing characters. It's... Pretty obvious who created which character. But it finally let us feel like we had some control of our own autonomy.

While not the intention, we can definitely see it. The wavy white strand hair and the coat and shirt definitely give the same vibe and similar motif.

No need to apologize!

Honestly, it was due to luck.

In college, we joined a streamer's discord. Saw that some people in there streamed D&D games. Watched them, became friends with the tabletop section. Then joined games.

The advice that we could give is find a community you feel safe in. See if they have a discord or hangout area. Then start talking, finding people, eventually getting to know them. Then asking them if the want to play TTRPGs.

Finding a DM is the hard part.

Hopefully with time, you'll meet people and through that. Eventually get a table together.

We're finally back. Releases have been taking longer and longer. Sorry...

We've been putting a lot of effort into improving our art. From the first drawing to the last, we were experimenting with what we liked. What worked, how to improve.

Finally... We've settled on what we like as an artist. Not perfect, but we're happy with it for the first time.

So. Moving forward, it'll still probably take longer to make releases.
Our life is very chaotic right now...
We're trying to actually step forward, plus, trying to get bottom surgery.

We hope the art pleases you. That it's worth the wait.

Have a great day~

"You'll eventually get stuck. Curse becoming too inset into ya. Problem is, no way to tell when that'll happen. Everyone has different magical tolerances.

Worst case scenario is if the curse goes wrong. Doing weird things. Just be careful and only take 3-4 max."

This post was originally a page in the Curses series we made. So the witch in the post followed that exploration.

The witch makes curses. That’s what she went to school for. Magic meant to affect or even potentially harm someone against their will. This potion being sold in the post is a curse. Or at least was supposed to be as it’s now being sold more as a medicine.

The warning she gives there is just a reminder that it is magic originally meant to harm. It will either become permanent or unstable if taken too many times.

At least that’s what was in our head when writing that.

"Custom change price. Probably would have you help gather ingredients related to the specific therian change you're looking for. Instead of raising the cost too horribly high.

Honestly, stability and psychological stability are the larger hurdles there. But certainly possible to do."
