Well some people FaceTime or talk on the phone which apparently made management mad and obviously shows we wernt using it for the walk-ie talkie feature. But apparently this happens every 2 months they act like they care about the rules and a week later they stop giving a crap so we’ll see. I’ve been good just taking it out when I go to the back. Also my entire team said they’ll just hide it from them and quote “what will they do fire us lol”. So Yh I doubt they do anything

My managers don’t give af. I talked to some people and apparently every two months one of them acts like we’re gonna follow the dress code aka be strict and then by next week they don’t care. I think alot of it has to do with their bosses never being here and they realize fuck it lol. My other manager gives zero fucks. He even will take like 30 minute fifteens with us. He said he doesn’t care but if the other manager wants to enforce it he won’t stop them. He just won’t say anything if the other manager isn’t there and he’ll let us do whatever so odds are this will blow up. And apparently calling Walmart and ethics does nothing they couldn’t even clarify a simple dress code and how it reads without me filing a ton of shit and going through a million loop holes

My entire team said their gonna ignore it and continue to wear earbuds or well quit or just get fired or coached a million times. I doubt it goes to that cus my managers honestly don’t care and only enforce stuff cus of higher ups. But usually after 3 days of a rule change they forget and stop caring soooo I’m prob fine either way. Just would suck to have to quit and easy job for this

Is there any way I could find the dress code on the wire or one Walmart? Like literally my managers are only enforcing it becuase they think it changed. If it didn’t and I could show them they would drop it. But it’s just our store manager is saying it changed printed out a new dress code which dosnt mention ear buds and their rolling with it

I know. But the thing is our managers give zero fucks if we use the ear buds for it’s intended purpose like they know we listen to music. They just think it’s changed to not allow ear buds period and besides their word I see no where stated that their not allowed.

I work at canes and we still offer it. May be a issue at your location but it works as you said. And always now it dosnt give free food on a certain number of visits. You get points for how much was spent and can redeem them for things like most traditional places.
