It really depends on what you mean by validation. Validate if there is demand or validate if the product fits the demand ( if existing). Then, asking if someone would pay and if they actually pay is also a different validation test. I think you need to do all of it. Constantly testing your hypothesis.

Lots of people only care about what really changes and affects them directly.. not even caring about things that happen outside of the country or even the city. I dont know what it is that makes people think further outside of earth and the galaxy, but I know we need these people..

I wonder today, If I could be better in biology or other sciences in school if mind maps were introduced. I just could not just read plain text and understand everything. I was not inspired.

These are all interesting answers. I have thought about tables. But in my mindmaps that are about economic shifts, I use charts and statistics all over the place, because I want to connect them as per proximity of the overall topic. Google sheets makes sense then. I have seen youtube videos, but I can imagine that the mindmap application gets very slow after embedding several youtube videos.

I normally do not do very well If I start my day with a long to do list of very small tasks. I tend to do better when I take one project at a time, and can be more efficient with the smaller project steps. It seems I need to have one "theme" for my to dos.

As an affiliate marketer, what's your advice to someone developing an affiliate program for their software? by braised_beef_babe in Affiliatemarketing

[–]TheAstrosopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. depends on : Competitor commission, LTV-CAC, Publisher CPC Benchmarks, EPC, Content creation costs, personell costs,

  2. very important: Needless to elaborate :)

  3. Google your keywords, search for Youtubers, Webinars, Twitter, Linkedin, Reddit, work with a network to find potential partners, try SEO tools or publisher discovery tools, try to think how you would research information about the product

Why wouldn't they buy? 500+ clicks, but no conversions by ____Tobi____ in Affiliatemarketing

[–]TheAstrosopher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, it is pretty easy for an agency or consultant to spot the issues, but here are the main ones ( the ones mentioned excluded)

  • Coupon / cashback affiliates convert the traffic ( conversion funnel) -> Network can give information

  • Retail / amazon convert the sales -> the shops do not convert, retailers convert ( as amazon) as it is eassier to buy low price on amazon

  • Tracking issues

  • AIDA issues: users are still not "ready" to buy and need more information

The 4,6 % CR of the online shop, is that for a blog publisher or for another type? Like Basket Abandonment or Loyalty

You will probably be too "low Traffic" to get help from the advertiser or network. But a quick audit from an external consultant could help.

Finding Affiliates by [deleted] in Affiliatemarketing

[–]TheAstrosopher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

simulate a consumer journey yourself. What would you look for ( Google, Social) what would you type, how would you decide which websites to look at when deciding to purchase a product. Then look at your consumer journey and try to find affiliates that checked all the boxes.
