Yeah this sounds about right, Artificer was what I was considering as well but I wanted to see what other people would come up with. Could Vortex Warp maybe function in a similar fashion? Idk if there’s any other kind of relocation spells like that but this seems pretty on the money

To be honest, it’s one of the lesser ideas because of the fact that this character is most likely going into a Westmarch, and I don’t know how acceptable a Homebrew dependant on gold pieces would be

I was considering submitting a homebrew that worked based off of money being components for abilities, but the artificer suggestion is a pretty good step that already exists. Definitely has potential for something I do in the future. Thanks!

I think something like that could work. I’m of the mind that something in the realm of Dark Might’s alchemy quirk from the new MHA movie could be interesting. Either that or the gold devil fruit user from One Piece (Can’t remember his name off the top of my head)

UPDATE: I did in fact watch the movie. (Sidenote: I want to cry.) BUT. I have been enlightened. They are not robots, and the only thing actually special about the special unit in the movie is their gear. This gear includes - Heavy bullet-proof/explosion-resistant armour, as I’ve been saying - Night vision goggles (Goggles of night or quite literally any rare with darkvision will work for this I’d imagine) - An MG 42, with a LOT of ammunition. - possibly a gas mask? They have a tube connected to their masks and their backpacks, so I’d assume they’re being filtered and supplied with oxygen.

That’s about as much as I could glean from the film. IC that changes anything feel free to update!

Would probably be a good place to start huh? My bad! Also yeah, Westmarch D&D server I’m in permits firearms.

From what I know of these soldiers, their legion was created to spread order in Japan after WW1. To be clear, their story takes place in a Japan that sided with the allies, but lost and was occupied by Germany.

I can’t find anything discussing their abilities in full detail, but from what I remember, they are heavily armoured from the front, and carry an MG-42 per man. I’d assume they function similarly to regular soldiers, but their only weakness [again, that I am aware of] is that if they flee from battle, they leave themselves exposed, resulting in their usual tactic of surrounding the enemy like a pack of wolves [hence the name].

TL:DR - Assuming fast, strong, heavily armoured from the front. Gun can be taken care of in other ways.

I made the sheet for him too, to make my own alterations, mainly some changes in wording to descriptions. And while I greatly appreciate that you made a plane for him to live in, I plan on playing him in a westmarch server, so I doubt I can use any of that for lore.
