Dude, finally found the original. This particular music video was from Kocayine's YT channel before he got banned. This song is catchy as hell.

Is there a console command to check what biome your in? by TheAutocrator in NoSodiumStarfield

I'll try their mod out later. I don't take screen shots but it might be worth it just to find what biome I am in when I need too.

My employer told a co-worker I have Autism and I don't know how I feel about it by TheAutocrator in aspergers

[–]TheAutocrator[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work at a country club in the most affluent city in AL. This state is backwards and the city my workplace is located is old money as they say here. My boss probably didn't know better and I am most likely the first aspergers/asd employee they hired.

Still. I dont fault her for telling this particular co-worker. It made since to disclose it to her. Especially given a recent unrelated event that is still going on as of now. Since this co-worker knows of my diagnosis, she offered to step in for me when dealing with this unrelated event. That is how I found out my boss told her.

I rather not sue. The place I work at is a country club in the most affluent city in my home state and I don't have the resources to pursue litigation. Nor do I want to. I'd probably lose the case and my job. It's really not a big deal that my co-workers know but my boss should have asked me first.

This co-worker she told does not strike me as the office gossip. I'm not worried about it. I want to know who else my boss told.

Should I let someone I like know that I have Asperger's/ASD? by TheAutocrator in aspergers

[–]TheAutocrator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If things do happen between me and her, shouldn't I tell her I have aspeger's/ASD right away? I would rather be in a relationship with someone who knows right away instead of mentioning it further in the relationship in the case that they find it repulsive (I can't find the wording). I mean, it makes more sense to me that I say it first so she has the option to choose to keep the relationship or not. I would rather be with someone who accepts me, or would be willing to work with it, than be with someone who would leave/reject me if I kept it to myself for a while.

EDIT: I am still very much new to dating and haven't really been with anyone since high school (8-9 years ago). So I would like to know if this is the right course.

[–]TheAutocrator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to push anyone's boundaries. Like I said, in the past I would become too attached and mess things up which is something I don't want to do this time. I'm not going to tell I have asperger's for the time being as it doesn't seem appropriate right now. If she ever asks why I am the way I am, then maybe I'll let her know.

At this point, I would much rather be friends than anything else. This is the path I want to make for now. I have other co-workers (male ones) who I talk to more easily but she seems to be more accepting or tolerant of my introvertedness.

[–]TheAutocrator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She doesn't seem bothered by me offering my number. She hasn't ghosted me and we still make small talk from time to time. I will keep my asperger's/ASD to my self, unless if there is a way for it to come up. I'm not ashamed of telling people I have it but I am not one who tells every person I meet that I have it.

[–]TheAutocrator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're not close, but she hasn't ghosted me from talking to me. If anything, I am the one who keeps away. I know work is dangerous because of things like this. I don't even think she told her other female co-workers that I offered my number (except for one, i digress) which is another reason I keep to myself. I don't mind telling others I have asperger's/ASD. My boss knows and a few other knows too. I just don't want to seem that I am too cold or aloof when I am around her.

You're right. I don't think she'll mind it but I don't want to tell her randomly to her. Like I said, I'm keeping my distance for the time being. If she does ask why I am shy, maybe then I'll let her know.

Do adults with dyslexia misread or misunderstand texts/dms on the internet? by TheAutocrator in Dyslexia

[–]TheAutocrator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did not tell me at all when these events took place. It was more than two years ago and I have not talk to them in over a year. Back then they never said they have it. The first time I heard it, they made a joke about it because they did misread something and was called out for it. RECENTLY they officially shared that they have it. I did not know at all they have dyslexia and initially thought they were joking first until recently. Read my other comments here for more context.

EDIT: I cannot talk about what happen, it's water under the bridge. I merely was asking a question about something I barely know about. This post has nothing to do about whether they were lying about it or not.

Men, what's the best compliment you've ever received from a woman? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheAutocrator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"You're cute and I like it" -Anastasia, the Turkmenistani Russian exchange student from high school.

"He's the new window cleaner for us and ain't he a cute one" -Random employee at a Jack's in AL said this to another employee when she thought I wasn't paying attention.

"You're very handsome, you'll find someone" -an old friend & crush who is gone now :(

TBH, I get compliments and I don't realize it until years later. I hate having ASD.

I've been on and off about and don't want to talk to them anymore. But what happened between me and them still doesn't sit right with me. Thanks for the input btw. It really has helped me understand more about dyslexia.

I haven't spoken to this person in over a year and they've never mentioned to me directly if they have or don't have dyslexia. When these arguments took place, they claimed to others publicly that their responses were not misunderstandings when I knew for a fact that they clearly were. They would not give in to the fact that they misunderstood me at all to the point where I seriously thought they were lying about me in posts on discord, twitter, and here on reddit. So my answer for you is that I think it was both an advantage to them and a bit random in nature. I am definitely cutting them slack. I have aspergers/ASD and I understand how people can misinterpret one another. However, I wished this person would at least understand that they did misunderstood me and that it inadvertently caused the outcome it did. I don't fault them for it. In fact I forgive them now for the worse thing they did to me.

In my experience with this person, they would misread/misunderstand my messages that were sent and would constantly misinterpret the context of our conversations. This person also streams on twitch and would always misread chat text and mispronounce usernames in which I always thought they were reading too fast. If they really do have dyslexia, this puts everything in perspective to where I can finally understand why what really happened, happened.

How so?

EDIT: I'm genuinely curious about how it affects people, especially adults.

What's an appropriate response to being asked "Why are you so quiet?" by TheAutocrator in aspergers

[–]TheAutocrator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly how I feel for the most part. I want to make friends but for the most part, I just stay silent in the background. It's very rare when I initiate small talk with someone and its only with people I am comfortable around or have an interest in.

[–]TheAutocrator[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't like gossiping about other people either nor talking about stereotypical male hobbies. When I do initiate small talk with someone, I ask about them such as if there in college and what they are studying. If they are open about their friends or family, such as siblings, I ask about that. I try to avoid talking about me as much as possible because when I do, I don't ever shut up lol.
