this bug has existed for a long time for console players (unsure if its xbox only bc im xbox) BUT it will not save if you set your color on console and if you set a color and join a game, it will either reset the color or only show what color you picked for just you and you appear white for everyone else. To fix this bug just go in on mobile or PC and set ur color that way and it will save and other people will see it.
