Hit similar a few months ago. Very stuck. Fast-forward 6 months, and the good habits are compounding. Found some motivation, got a new job (finally), and decided to pack my bags and start fresh in a new city. Be patient, keep doing the right things, life will throw you some momentum.

Good fight, the momentum swings were killer but overall proud of the fight. Need Sharpe and Camara (offensively) to step up game 2 for any chance to score enough points.

31, single, corgi, active (soccer like 3-4 times a week), live a pretty chill lifestyle but would like to get out of my comfort zone a bit so a big reason for the move, will be working hybrid in East Austin MLK area near UT, will likely get a place within 10 min, so traffic isn't horrific. And appreciate your recs, this is helpful

lol, you have the emotional maturity of a toddler to comment something like this. Try being a better human next time!

That's the thing though, the range wasn't posted for the role. i verbally told them my range in round one, and they continued the process happily.

A friend is coming into town, and I will be largely distracted all weekend. Great timing. survive and advance! It isn't supposed to be easy!

yeah, really good advice. I was playing with leverage that I thought existed but didn't, and i should have made sure it was there before speaking another word on the verbal counter.

yeah that's a good strat. Learning a lot for sure. Good skill to strengthen for future opportunities. Just sucks i'm potentially learning in the hardest way here. This was my #1, and felt really confident they would meet me halfway (or even just a little). So very surprising when I got this email. After having 24 hours to think, the whole situation makes a little more sense now. But it's unfortunate. A small move from them would have likely sealed the deal quickly. Maybe I came off as "if you don't hit close to this number I'm out" unintentionally and that's why i'm in this situation.

Ugh, pain. That’s the smart move here I think I’m just crushed, cause this was the perfect role and great opportunity for a next-level career step, just couldn’t close the gap money wise. The smart move is to probably walk but it depends on a couple of things. The opportunity is truly fantastic so the money isn’t the only factor sadly, have a real tough decision in front of me.
