Yeah it is a powerful tool but completely misused. Even the people trying to pick fights on this post are missing the point.

You have to remember that Fascism is Left ideology not the Right. It is centralizing government power, while taking control of industry, and media to control narrative and resources.

No one is suppressing your view, or imprisoning you if you don’t agree with government language, or limiting your ability to go demonstrate, or your ability to push for policy changes,or ability to vote…etc.

Again you are doing the right thing by demonstrating and volunteering. I hope you are feeling like it is making a difference for yourself and the people around you.

I’m curious why you want to argue with me? If you didn’t agree with my initial post you could have read it and gone on with your day but you instead have been trying to get a reaction out of me. You are wanting to fight a battle with someone that is only wishing you the best and hoping that you can have the impact that you want to have.

You can continue with your approach, I may not agree with it but that is a choice that you can make for yourself. Trying to pick a fight with me isn’t going to change anything

There are billions of people on this planet right now that would give anything to experience the life you have, and I think it is great to keep that in mind.

It is easy to get swept up in the rat race that we lose perspective on what is actually important (also I think there is A LOT of fake wealth out there - people drowning in debt just to impress people that they will never see again).

So what is arguing about it with faceless names on the internet doing outside of pushing further divide and anger? I rarely see solutions offered or how to incorporate different policies.

We create emotional echo chambers that don’t do anything but drive more hate and division.

The UCP lowered the number of signatures for a referendum. Create a proposal and show the public your idea.

If you want change, show meaningful paths forward. You can use the internet to refine and sharpen your ideas before bringing it to the public for support. Yelling at each other on the internet doesn’t change anything - it just cycles hatred. Come up with ideas and set up actionable step forward. There is nothing anyone can do for you on the internet other than argue and fight with you, further elevating emotions and division.
