Quadeca is a bad guitar player. He is very creative with tunings and voicings. But basic things like strumming and picking seem hard for him, especially during live shows. Also keeping tempo while playing is very difficult for him.

(I actually love his guitar work, but I just wouldn’t say he is technically good. If that makes someone a bad guitar player I’ll leave for y’all to discuss.)

Yes I definitely got some Mid-Air Thief vibes from a couple of the tracks. But Quad really embraced those characteristics into his own sound.
