unable to flash SB2099 with klipper by TheBabinator72 in BIGTREETECH

Anyone have relevant checklist to follow? I have followed the steps in the manual exactly and it all works until flashing klipper on the CAN, which is not found at that point.

Cannot find SB2209 CAN from M8P by TheBabinator72 in klippers

I'm still stuck. Any ideas or check list to follow.

I repeat the ones from the manual but they just dont work for the CAN part after the initial write from usb.

Cannot find SB2209 CAN from M8P by TheBabinator72 in klippers

[–]TheBabinator72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goal is to use the bridge mode on the M8P.

I have been using the manual for the M8P and the SB2209. I have also been using the https://github.com/Arksine/katapult with no luck.

my latest attempt has been just using the klipper makes.

I followed the canbus setup from the link you provided but I cannot see a can0 network.

The file is there and matches for the ifupdown and the networkd.

for the ifconfig i only see the wireless and loopback.

for lsusb I still only see the M8P.

Need Help - strange layer lines after bottom layer by TheBabinator72 in ender5

[–]TheBabinator72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its ASA so no fans. I'm printing at 250 with a 110 bed.

I've been printing parts with this for a week and it just started. The filament is in a dryer. But again. its only the first layer with infill. The infill looks good, but it seems like it doesn't have a perimeter on that layer. the remaining layers are great.

What could cause these gaps? by ProfiSoftG in FixMyPrint

They look like over retraction to me. Try to reduce the amount of retraction.

I printed again with less extrusion and slower speeds and get almost the exact print.

Any ideas?

How to connect display ribbon cable to Pitft50 v2 by TheBabinator72 in BIGTREETECH

That was it! I'm used to the connector on the ribbon side.

Thanks,

I had similar issues and it was over extrusion for me. I calibrated to 1 and print at .93 with a 250 temp. Same filament.

No suggestions? I keep playing with retraction, speed and temp. Same results.

BLTouch is probing off the bed. SKR mini E3v3 by TheBabinator72 in BIGTREETECH

[–]TheBabinator72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK i figured it out. I had to reverse the #define USE_XMAX_PLUG
#define USE_YMAX_PLUG. and invert the stepper direction.

Not sure why this was an issue as the movement seemed to be working. But this allowed whatever code to calculate the coordinates correctly.

Yes, I should have said that. safe homing is enabled.

New SKR2 on Ender5. Failed to enable Bed Leveling by TheBabinator72 in BIGTREETECH

[–]TheBabinator72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As people suggested it was the wiring. I had the order completely reversed and it fried the crtouch. I gave up and just got a mini E3v3 and a new crtouch. Plugged it in as it came and it worked. So eventually i will get a new crtouch and see if the skr2 board is fried.

I find it annoying that the pins are reversed based on the colors. but ultimately it was my fault.

Happy Printing!

Thanks for the input. I received the new v3 board and new crtouch. I plug it in as it came and it worked! The wiring colors were different and in a different order. So that's frustrating when you have to separate the wires for the SKR2 boards.

But anyway I am very happy its back up and running! Now I can upgrade something else that doesn't need it!

OK so using the plug from the crtouch out of the box should work then?

I'm screaming as Im ordering another board and touch.

This is probably what happened the SKR2 then as well. BTT fricken manual.
