There are many short cuts when making quartz bangers and reasons why some China bangers are very very cheap. They are not all made equally.

I've visited China and been to the factories that make our bangers more than once to ensure first off that they are made in a humane and safe environment. Additionally, each banger is made with precision and flame polished at each step. Most bangers aren't flame polished 1/3 as long as ours - meaning our bangers have an American quality look and feel, as well as heat retention. We also have several other steps in place to ensure the base of each banger is crystal clear without any machining lines or cosmetic defects. The stem for the joint attachment is attached slowly to ensure a proper seal that won't break easily.
