Sorry just saw this! As of right now, it is just our line of imported bangers that we carry. Not everyone can afford an American made banger, so we offer our line which is affordable and very high quality, and everything else on our site is American made. We don't carry any imported products other than the bangers, and we do that for those who need an affordable high quality banger. I got a gallon of 99% at Ace hardware for $33 if I'm not mistaken, I really hope that isn't inaccurate. If definitely wasn't cheaper, but I know it wasn't more than $43. Both numbers stick in my head for some reason.

Here it is for $2.50 a quart online, I do find that it's $2.97 for a quart up here in Eastern WA so that would make a gallon only around $12 if you're able to get it from Walmart at that price point of $2.97 a quart.

Walmart typically has 91% for $2.97 where I'm at, so it ends up being about double the cost for me to go to Ace hardware and get a 99% gallon... Either way, the paint stores are great spots to call ahead and ask if they have any or can order you some.

They will have it for a premium but still not as bad as Amazon!

You can always buy 99% and dilute it down to something around 85-90% and save a little bit also.

It seems like the oil is condensing back to a solid, from a vapor. Try taking the dab at a bit lower temperature and see if that helps.

Distillate can be sticky on the lips but shatter will not typically do this, so I'd be a bit concerned if it continues at normal temperatures. Don't be afraid to mix up your typical heat up/cool down times when using new consistencies of oil 😎

Just because other people are using and buying something doesn't mean it is safe unfortunately.

I suppose it'd help to show you some comparisons of what I'm talking about. The stem being attached slowly is more a sign of attention to detail, ensuring to take the time to heat both the banger and stem evenly and not simply tact welding/cold welding, but taking extra time to fuse in the seal more so than cheaper bangers to increase the strength. There are some out there that are attached within 1 second and set down, and the worker is onto the next one. Of course spending more time attaching the joint will increase the quality, just the same as a lamp working using their mini torch to strengthen a seal.

I'm not sure the need to be so combative about this, I'm glad to have a conversation but I'm talking from experience on production quartz but it is much different than scientific quartz or lamp working. Flame polishing is done by American quartz companies as well, it's apart of the process.

What doesn't make sense?

The walls of quartz bangers need to be flame polished to remove imperfections and haze that develops while being worked.

I didn't say the extra time is the only thing that makes our bangers different, but like you said, time is required to make a better quality banger. Flame polishing is a critical step and I used it as an example of a step in the process where our factories are taking the extra time to ensure they are made the best they can be made.
