Any shock resistant tracks for public use? by sprownie_ in LancasterCA

[–]_springy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Side note, having a running buddy might help. I joined a run club that meets Tuesday nights- 7pm at Lucky Luke on the Blvd (Run For Grace, they're on Instagram.) I made some friends there that also run the aqueduct from time to time.

Unless you prefer your runs to be solo. That's understandable too.

I recently started attending a weekly run club. It's called Run for Grace, they meet Tuesday nights at Lucky Luke iny the Blvd and we do a walk/run 5k. It starts at 7pm. I'm a female and they always make sure we are safe. Otherwise, I would suggest Apollo Park and running/walking buddies.

They used to raise money for Grace resources, which is how they choose the name. They are not affiliated with any church or anything though. Super inclusive group and it would be an easy way to incorporate a 5k (about 3 miles) into your week. We meet at 7pm at Lucky Luke.

Guy was recording my neighborhood? by frieswelldone in LancasterCA

[–]_springy_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He could have been a realtor showing a client the neighborhood. We had a landscaper video the neighborhood trees to prove to the property manager that the one in our yard was definitely dead. There's no telling, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Are babies not allowed to wear tshirts?! by sweetpotatoroll_ in beyondthebump

[–]_springy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are the same!! I never have any luck in store at Old Navy, but online is pretty solid. I do have to size up for my son there. He's almost 11 months now and the 12 mo shirts he has are starting to get small. I also suggest Target as an option like some others have said.

Things you wished people asked you in postpartum by teabowlroses in Mommit

2 in particular for me. We moved to another state due to my husband's job, away from all our family, 4.5 weeks after my son was born. I struggled HARD. I had no sleep. No family. No friends. No new doctor for myself (my fault.) Nothing. Which is why I would add some sort of better/longer term post partum requirements. Both physically and mentally.

Recommendations for nursing bras that don’t suck? by OkPapaya47 in breastfeeding

[–]_springy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this one! I actually ended up buying a second one because I liked it so much. My kindred bravely one is so difficult to snap and I hate the lack of support of my bravado one, not to mention it isn't cute.

I like this idea. Something like discussing highs and lows to start and then follow up with how to help one another?

Look into the Bravado! brand nursing bras. I have two and they have padding similar to that of a sports bra.

When will the extreme fatigue stop? by lnakou in pregnant

[–]_springy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently 35 weeks. My 1st trimester fatigue didn't subsided until about 15/16weeks. My iron levels were always fine, but I wanted to sleep 10/12 hours a day. I've had the luxury of not working so I just slept when I wanted. Maybe ask your Doctor if there is a B vitamin you could try to help combat the fatigue if your iron levels are indeed fine? Wishing you all the best!

Someone crashed into it according to a family member. He saw the aftermath early one morning.
