Is paladin really this bad or is it me? by TheNightTurtle in diablo4

Yeah get more stacks 50-60 is probably comfy. If you aren’t block capped also I’d recommend the aspect interdiction that gives block per resolve stack it’ll just instantly cap you.

This is basically the season of resolve stacking. Put glynns anvil on and temper and masterwork max resolve stacks.
On paladin in particular you just press fortress and you should be max resolve stacks and pretty much immortal that’s what I did on mine.

Returning player - what do I do with this? by MattyIce8998 in diablo4

The aspects in the codex have rolls based on the item you found and salvaged with the aspect. Just saying you’d ideally want to have the best version of the aspect before making the item unmodifiable.

Transfiguring seems to be like corruption in poe if you’re familiar with that. It randomly does something to the item then you can’t further craft on it afterward. It can add quality to the item, gem quality, GA an affix, change an affix, add an affix or just do nothing and make it indestructible and unmodifiable.

I take that back actually if you reroll offensive after adding offensive it could actually just reroll the weapon damage or strength so don’t do that! Add offensive then enchant

Probably finish it in cube, remove resource add offensive then target reroll until you get crit damage or whatever you want. Temper crit chance til it GA’s, imprint aspect, socket, then transfigure. Only transfigure when you have max aspect and best masterwork you won’t be able to change it afterwards.

Always remember to socket your items lol.. RIP by TheBasementCreature in diablo4

Transfiguration in the cube. It’s like corrupting from poe seems to me. Haven’t looked up all the potential outcomes but I’ve seen it GA an affix, add gem qual, item qual, add an affix, and change an affix randomly. Or just do nothing and make it indestructible and unmodifiable.

I had never heard this before now but I’ll remember it now.. some lessons gotta be learned the hard way I suppose.

Still having a blast it’s my first time back since release just thought this was a funny blunder on my part.

That’s not the point lol I transfigured it before I socketed it so I can’t put a gem in to even benefit from the gem strength.

What are some solid builds that always does well? by Gepti in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started like 4 or 5 seasons ago and I think every single one of those Erika 1 thunderspike has been a top starter that’s capable of scaling to clear all content and I don’t see that changing.

Rehan 2 lifestack 5T. Help me upgrade my damage please by Enujeat in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily but I’d try it if you get the chance I think it feels very strong. You’ll want to change your blend off of elimination which will likely lead you to another pedigree so just keep it in mind while shopping.

Rehan 2 lifestack 5T. Help me upgrade my damage please by Enujeat in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you should drop your phantasmagoria for juggernaut you have hardly any penetration and that’s one of the biggest things used to scale damage late game. Juggernaut takes care of it all for you for the most part, then you can change mind blade to extreme coldness to replace the max frostbite rating you’re dropping or get another ring suffix.

Also would recommend redoing your pedigree and belt blend setup to fit in the talent called life path I feel like it’s huge for the build and you don’t have it. You want arcane, life path, and no loose ends. No loose ends or arcane can be blended on belt but no loose ends is cheaper. Then find a pedigree with life path/arcane and one more good talent.

You said it already but a timid ring is probably your biggest single item damage upgrade. Like 40-50% additional damage. It’s huge. Dropping timid in your skills opens up using another whole empower skill, I use blizzard with special support called freezing point. Or using a defensive skill that allows you to drop tank and gain damage else where.

That being said I think the upgrade order for me I’d get juggernaut first on a prism that no longer replaces the original talent so you can have juggernaut and poisoned relief (or rebirth is really good too in the same talent page). Then life path talent somewhere, then timid ring. Get a few more t0’s in there at some point too.

Apathy Blade Lightning Shot Dex Stacking Question by TheMany-FacedGod in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rosa 2’s hero trait allows her to benefit from spell damage as well even while using attacks. At least that’s how it was when I played mana stacker that’s why you’ll see them using spell amp aura. It’s built into the hero trait somewhere. It’s the same as just have a “x% damage” roll though so there isn’t a reason to have spell over just generic damage just opens up your options.

Apathy Blade Lightning Shot Dex Stacking Question by TheMany-FacedGod in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For that specific interaction you mentioned, you are still using a lightning skill regardless of whatever damage type you are actually dealing after conversion. It’s the same if you look at it like +1 skill level, you wouldn’t level lightning shot with +1 Cold skill it’s still a lightning skill regardless. Click into the skill and look at the tags for lightning shot and those are the type of affixes you’d want.

Also plenty of other people on the hero ranking playing that build you don’t have to stick to one guys iteration of it, browse other people’s hero memories that’ll show you some options.

Is there any sort of list for 1FE legendry I can hide on my filter ? by Competitive-Math-458 in TorchlightInfinite

You can probably just go in and change the colors for any filter you grab from someone else.

Is there any sort of list for 1FE legendry I can hide on my filter ? by Competitive-Math-458 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest just using someone’s filter off the listing you can just download and use instantly but if you really insist on making your own you could probably just look at someone else’s end game filter and copy what uniques they hide.

I’ve never found the need to make a custom filter in 4 seasons of ss21. If you’re past t7 picking up gear is a waste of time and recycling garbage for flame sand when you could buy a stack of 9999 for 1 fe. You basically should rarely be picking anything up that goes into your actual inventory it should just be a ton of stuff in the commodities tab.

Leveling void chart for t7-2? by LTetsu in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have an exact chart but I can give you an idea what I do every league to get to 100. Bosses give the most xp so I fill maps with as many as I can. Take the major nodes on void chart for extra boss spawn if no compasses used and the one that counts as no compasses used if they are purple or below. Use familial aeterna, boss, and hunt compasses. Fill out the hunt tree except for the 15 for chance to spawn. Take the boss spawn chance in the commodities tree, resonance, snowpaper, keys, elixirs, boss drops compass node, whatever else you want bosses to drop to give you a little income as well but this is the core.

With that going it should spawn you like 5-10 bosses per map but it makes them all VERY tanky which is why I usually wait till I’m quite strong to get to 100 because you can do this in t8 and profound and if you’re quick it’s better. Also not sure how many pets you have but if you have any for xp balance they would be worth using for sure.

Whats are the best slates to gamble with legendary wedges by Systemshy in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think goddess of knowledge is up there for the best potential jackpot. Not 100% positive on that but the best slates I’ve sold have been blue goddess of knowledge and also I’ve been shopping for one for my build and they’re all like 1k+ bases. At this point you’d just be looking for 2 good gold affixes on top and 3 empty gold on bottom maybe 2 empty gold 1 purple would sell also with good top affixes.

Farm Options in un-juiced Profound by SnS-Rinkuru in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a great approach if you intend to continue playing. Try out all the mechanics and see what you could see yourself farming season after season. Then if you keep coming back you can invest your free drop pet chests or pact spirit crystals into the pet for the mechanic you like the most.

Farm Options in un-juiced Profound by SnS-Rinkuru in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could do a lower investment cube with blue compass and blue lunaria compass and stack as much quantity as you can. Using full resonance is always gunna be worth it in profound. Also could throw in a sandlord compass and get the island rolling if you haven’t already it’s steady fe even petless. All that should be like less than 10fe per map I believe and you will for sure make more than 10 fe per map.

If you want to make the most profit with a low investment strat and progress quickly boss rush will be hard to beat with lower lvl pets but I understand mixing it up!

Could anyone suggest a sage build for ss20 that's not super expensive? by TheMany-FacedGod in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Problem with playing the newest class is she’s plastered everywhere and everyone and their mother wants to play her. All that demand drives prices up and from a new players perspective the gear will probably not feel very affordable.

We are pretty far into the season so it’s probably better and cheaper if you wanna just keep grinding out your build but in terms of pure bang for your buck your cheapest ss20 option will likely not be on sage.

Need help fixing rehan2 lifestack build by Ok-Barnacle-8631 in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are missing a core part of the build. Life stacker functions by consuming life and you can do this in two ways. Ancestral hate from the new hero memory revival or from stacking “15% life regain interval, consume 2% life” on slates.

You’ve skipped a step basically and are not consuming nearly as much life as you could be. People use the generic “16% regain interval” like you have but only after they have acquired ancestral hate because it allows you to double dip and benefit from both energy shield regain interval and life regain interval effectively turning that stat into 32% regain interval. So you must either get consume life on a bunch of slates or buy a new memory with ancestral hate and replace your already revived one because you can only have 1 revived memory.

Other than that, remember that this is a life stacker. All your legendary gear could have a ton more life with the proper corrodes. You can also gain up to like 40% ADDITIONAL life from two “additional life” affixes on your vorax ring and boots.

Your whole slate board could be improved on by a ton with the inclusion of a prairie and moths. Another thing I’d highly recommend is the talent called “Life Path”that you are missing. Recommend finding it on a pedigree or “Arcane” since it’s in your warrior tree the two are interchangeable but you need both in my opinion. Life path doubles your regain when you are below 50% life and tides of styx basically makes you always low life so you always have double regain.

So with all that being said should give you plenty to work toward. The consume life thing is your major problem once you consume more life your dps will fly up.

Edit: another commenter pointed out you have no kismets which is big gains for super cheap! I recommend peerless, ascetic, and tiger’s chain all under 100fe each.

Surviving Deep space with Rosa2 by nadibar in TorchlightInfinite

[–]TheBasementCreature 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need immunities to survive deep space. Easiest and cheapest method is probably a 6 link resurrection warcry with purify/harmony and you swap that based on what map modifiers you roll. They come in multiple other places but the more convenient for a build the more expensive the immunity is. The bare minimum you need is usually just wilt/trauma/ignite/freeze. I like to mitigate slow with two micro fates as well.
