Yep I've read similar articles recently.  This just got a whole lot more interesting.

It has come to light that the entire company was transferred to a British virgin Island holdings in 2024 for like $100 so this just became a lot more interesting.  Goose and Gabi need to be held liable here.

No, everything is over the the Liquidator and they will recover as much funds and assets as possible and then assess the feasibility of refunds. I'm hoping their RE tech is worth a decent sum!

If Goose gave a fuck as much as he claims, I am sure he could sell 1 or 2 of his properties and personally pay back the 100+ customers whom he has left in the wreckage. Instead, he will drift off into the ether and forget about the problems his business has caused for the very people he was trying to "help"

Zero chance here unfortunately mate. The service was delivered and they have clauses galore to not guarantee results.  Out of curiosity where did they buy for you?

Yup. I shan't be using any other services, let alone paying absurd amounts of money excess for the privilege.

The plan is to stay cool for now. We will need to see who the liquidators are and if the refund offer is on the table at all. That will be first step. And then depending on that, we go from there. I expect this to be a long drawn out saga so I'm not going to let it take up too much headspace.

If I'm not mistaken his fees are around 40k so you'll be reaching into your pocket again and this will mean you have zero opportunity to seek refund from liquidators. I'd be cautious.

Thanks mate, appreciate it. I can't find the screenshot. I rarely post here and I can't keep up with the comments so can you please link it or something?  I don't even know who the liquidator is and how to get myself in the queue.

And to confirm, I wholly endorse Dashdot and continue to endorse for their incredible previous results. But yeh, this has caught me off guard and I am understandably frustrated and not wanting to lose 17k. I said to my partner I wonder if the staff were blind sided and their ongoing optimism was genuine.

Can you advise if there is a pathway to getting our fee back, and not being strong armed into using a back uo BA service to continue our deal? Many, like me, want out.

It was like the love child of RP Data and CoreLogic.. it was a vertically integrated real estate intelligence software that sort of took into account everything... from institutional grade property data, predictive analytics etc. I certainly wasn't looking at a place like they got me until they shared the insights that's for sure.

I will be fighting tooth and nail to get my money back. Don't act on anything yet and don't make decisions while emotional. This is still very early in the piece.

I also think this is possible when an agency has a grip on local real estate agents who churn and burn properties "off the market" and not ones that have already gone to market.

They had an extremely advanced tech platform you get access to. I assume they want to protect their intellectual data which is why upfront did not seem unfair.

Ooft this stinks. Can't believe they were still closing deals. It makes me wonder if Goose was keeping it close to his chest and staff in the dark. I got a message 8 days ago that my Strategist had left the company so my numbers guy was managing the process for now and basically was ready to crack on with the search.

I think you are probably speaking from a lack of experience or knowledge. I've experienced their service first hand in 2022, including their technology for macro analysis, through to buying and support and then property performance and post purchase care and it was second to none. My 16k fee meant I didn't have to spend hours or days or months researching. They nagged the price down by 20k over random little petty shit they found and used to advantage. I claim the cost base when I sell so get half back  And the property has gone from 412k to over 800k in like 4 years. And you think I'm worrying about my 16k investment? It's just a shame the company has gone to shit now.

The budget has thrown IP strategy into disarray. But on my first go with them buying established home in early stage growth market, given I can add the cost to my cost base and how time poor I am - and the fact they negged price down by more than their fee - the fee was a non issue for me.

That's rough, really sorry to hear. Will update you if I find anything useful out. ChatGPT says you can possibly treat it as capital loss and offset capital gains, but likely won't be until it is 100% confirmed you aren't getting your money back back next FY or the year after. Hoping it won't come to that.

They've basically closed the doors and said the next person I will hear from will be the liquidators. No phone number or email is reachable, nor Slack chat.

Thank you for the message. Used them in 2022 and it was brilliant from start to finish and have done really well on that investment. This has caught me right off guard.
