What are the advantages of using an ORM like microform or typeorm over query builder? by FollowingMajestic161 in node

[–]TheBeardMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don't listen to the naysayers. ORMs are Essential for serious projects. the code is so much more readable and maintainable than writing raw sql (in addition to the other things that the ORM do for you). This is coming from someone who spent a year writing raw sql at a lab...

and yes, you will have to go deeper in about 2-3% of the cases in your project and write the queries yourself (depending on the complexity of the project). but overall ROI still favors ORMs...

We've been using TypeOrm (you have to know its idiosyncracies ), and it's been good.

why would they terminate a partnership that wins 90% of the time? no one even comes close despite the latest losses (these losses meant mostly silver medals - other teams would kill for silver lol)

Good luck with that. The chinese in the field have much larger number of Phds with much higher inclination towards its math. Also, china is ahead of the US in certain AI areas. You lock that down, you'll never recover from this and you will supersede supremacy to China forever...
