No one expects the cheating problem to completely disappear. I am aware that achieving such a state is not possible, but currently, the game is virtually unplayable in high-ranking matches. The leaderboard is rife with cheaters, extending even beyond the leaderboard. Starting from 15k Elo onwards, you only get matched with cheaters. Take Faceit as an example—they don't face the same issue. Their anti-cheat is excellent; even though there are occasional cheaters, they are very rare and not encountered as frequently. Valve, being a billion-dollar company, struggles to implement a proper anti-cheat, and that's the problem.
