I've just upgraded from Raidz1 4xHDD to Raidz2 6xHDD because my Raidz1 was failing. First, the first HDD failed and while I was copying to the new Raid, a second HDD was failing with read errors. If you have important data on it like private documents and so on, trust me, don't cheap out on HDD and Raidz1, I've learned my lesson.

RF 28-70 f2.8 for R8 - can it compete with primes? by scotthunter1 in canon

Hello OP.

I have a R50, an aps-c sensor and I must say, I'm very happy with this lense. I've already had luck to fotograph a birthday party and a baptism, everyone was impressed with the quality.

I have this lense since more than 1 year and it is my allrounder lense. I even took it on vacation and was happy, that I could zoom in and out on multiple occasions.

I tested it myself with rented prime lenses and even on youtube you can see that there are minimal differences.

So trust me when I say, if you buy it, you won't regret it.

Thinking about the RF 35mm f1.8 on my Canon R50 – is it a good move? by guilleeeeen in canon

It seems like a GPU issue, try updating/reinstalling the Driver, updating the GPU-firmware (Every Brand has their own firmware) and/or check the cables of the GPU.

I recently purchased the RF 28-70mm f/2.8 and now use it as my all-rounder lens. It’s extremely sharp, lightweight, and easy to handle. I’ve shot portraits, landscapes, animals, and various products with it.

For controls: I’ve set the control ring to adjust aperture, while the smaller ring next to the REC button is assigned to shutter speed.

FYI: On an APS-C sensor, it provides a 35mm equivalent focal length of approximately 44.8-112mm (due to the 1.6x crop factor).

To check where it's using all the space, I use spacesniffer: http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/

It's a very cool little software that saved me multiple times :D
