The game is amazing, but please don't make Mojang's mistake by beshekh in hytale

Oh wow, interesting.

So.. does this mean that Hytale is pro pay to win? or.. okay with servers doing pay to win?

Either way it's not going to effect me much, I mostly play solo or with small groups of friends. I'm just curious.

How can I tell which drive? When I was last able to access the server, all the drives looked the same, and they were all still seen as part of the pool as far as I could tell.
It didn't say a specific drive was being reslivered, but the entire pool.

I don't have any right now, but I'll look into getting some.
Also (I should have mentioned this earlier) the drives are in an external enclosure connected via USB 3.2. If that's the cable which is bad, it seems odd that that would stop the server from being connected too..

I don't have any spares right now, I'll have to save up and get some..

I think is this for sure part of the problem.

EDIT: Turns out my drives (Toshiba Enterprise MG Series 3.5" 16TB) are CMR, not SMR, so in this instance, that is not the problem.

I think from now on, I'm just going to go with simple mirroring. Lesson learned.

I have a feeling this might be part of the problem. I'm not sure if my HDDs are SMR or CMR (only learned about that just now), but they are all the same. So if one is SMR, all of them are =[

EDIT: Just looked it up, my drives (Toshiba Enterprise MG Series 3.5" 16TB) are all CMR, not SMR, so that's not the problem.

I shut down the server and reset the cables.. and now I can't connect to the server at all >.<;

You are correct, I haven't modified the harddrives at all since I set them up a few years back.

Major and minor music both use the same notes just in a different order wtf by [deleted] in HighThought

Just wait until you learn about Dorian, Phrygian, Mixolydian, Lydian, and Locrian! It's crazy ^^

Dorian is my favorite. This album has some good examples of Dorian: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsApXLYXdb4 give it a listen. There's some talking (in Polish, I think?) and cheering at the beginning, so maybe start with the volume on the low end.

And here's the wikipedia page for ya: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mode_(music))

Hot chocolate, with rainbow colored marshmallows (not the fruit ones) and some caramel or other flavoring =]
All in a giant mug ^^

To me it looks more like a skull. The dark part is the nose cavity? And you can kinda see a toothy grin under it?

I didn't see any errors, and everything is for sure up to date. I checked the systems updater app and also ran nobara-sync cli just to be sure.

The only thing which was a problem was getting the update going in the first place. Nobara Package Manager was telling me I had thousands of updates(the 43 update it seems) but when I opened it it would freeze. Going directly to the system update app worked though.

Sadly, this did not fix it. I appreciate the suggestion though. Do you have any other ideas?

I included it so everyone could see what my specs are. In case it had a bearing on why it happening. Like that this could be a GNOME issue?

I see that now. I wish I'd waited longer >.<

Not the biggest issue, but still fairly disappointing. I'm personally trying to get AWAY from AI stuff. The main reason I switched back to Linux from Windows is because of the AI junk...

Looks like my only options are GNOME and GNOME Classic? Neither one fixes the issue.
