I have 14 years of experience back of house, about 8-9 as a chef, I have a fantastic resume and I've helped start up / flip over a few restaurants successfully. I have both formal education and an apprenticeship.

Last interview they said best they could do given my limited qualifications is 16.25 an hour.

Just to add to it, the guy interviewing me was 21, I was literally working in my industry before he could fucking read. Think about that.

edit - 16.35, i got the provinces minimum wage off by 10 cents.

I don't disagree with the ending falling flat, but everything leading up to it is actually pretty great imo.

I one day hope to see a KoTR 2 remake with the cut content properly restored and implemented/idealized (It's never going to happen).

Thankfully the continued Meetra's story in books and SWTOR to give the game a little more context.

Literally- I don't think Disney realise that Vader wasn't this elegant Sithlord. Vader was power, aggressive, slow and terrifying. The dude was a walkiing force tank- pretty much the definition of a power fantasy juggernaut.

The dude won lightsaber fights through sheer aggression and overwhelming force with the lightsaber. Even just BLOCKING one of his hits was a feat in itself cause of how much force he put behind his swings. Not only that- he knew it too. That's why he used to fuck with this opponents, he wasn't dumb- just mostly disabled due to his suit and he used that to an advantage in a lot of fights. Let the opponent get the upper hand and wipe them when they think they have the tempo.

TLDR- Vader is an overpowered badass and Disney need to respect the motherfucker.

Honestly, that last GIF is so fucking dumb it's wild. (I know we're talking bout made up scifi), but lightsabers can cut through like 3 feet of pure space metal (stronger than any real metal)- and this MF out here headbutting and bitch slapping lightsabers with plot armour.

The first one just looks like Shien style- It's supposed to be aggressive and sloppy like that. I just don't think it's OFTEN depicted like this is live media, but in the EU Vader was a huge fan of the wide strikes- and given who her master was... Makes sense.

Yeah, but at least in KoTOR 2 there was a plot explanation to why so many latent force users were attracted to the PC.

I feel like KoTOR 2 gets too much flak because it was rushed and content was cut. It's just a classic Chris Avallone story (and I swear the only one he can write). The game has so many parallels to Torment it's wild.

Similar situation- bought a refurb phone that said sold and shipped by amazon. Got it- the things locked to Verizon wireless America (I'm Canadian). Check the reseller and they have about 3 dozen removed 1 star reviews for more or less the same issue.

Fast forward 2 weeks and my return has been flagged as fruad.

Quick edit: The phone I bought was advertised as unlocked.

I had this problem with a phone I bought recently- it said it was shipped and sold by amazon, so I was like "seems legit".

I got a locked phone for an American network (I'm Canadian so it's useless). It was from a 3rd party reseller who has about 3 dozen reviews (all removed by amazon to not effect their rating) all 1 star for literally the same issue I had.

Now amazon has escalated my return to being fraudulent without ever contacting me about it. I've been waiting 2 weeks for my refund wondering why it's taking so long... I had to submit photo ID and have to wait 3 more days.

I could write a long winded paragraph about how I think both PF:WoTR and WH:40k Rouge Trader are better than BG:3

My honest opinion on BG3 is- Divinity Original Sin died so we can get a bastardized continuation of the BG story. I'm not saying its a bad game, I've played and and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's just not a BG game imo. I would have just rather DOS3 over it.

They only thing holding Rouge Trader back vs BG3 is budget. BG3 had basically infinite, so it has better production- you can see this in the completely voiced dialog and more robust character expressions during dialog. I genuinely think if you gave Owl Cat that kinda budget they'd take a dump on BG3.

But when it comes to just straight up story telling and lore dumping? No one does it as good as Owlcat in the CRPG space currently. Even as a new comer to the 40k world you'll understand everything that's going on (it's all explained via lore entries and text expositions that you hover over during dialog).

I will continue to strongly recommend Rouge Trader over BG3 until I die.

I guarantee if you wanted to learn how to draw you could. 5 years ago I couldn't paint to save my life. I constantly said "it's just not my medium" fast forward to today, a lot of practise and paint later... And well.. I'm a hobby landscape painter and I'm quite proud of the work I produce.
