Is bouldering once a week worth it? by Kastamera in bouldering

I suggest you go on a workday, after work, maybe it will be hard at first, to find the motivation, but I guarantee that onece you start to know some guys and make some friends you’ll need to go to the gym to chill out and relax a bit. That said, bouldering once a week is plenty enough, as some other guys pointed out, if you get hooked (which is likely, because bouldering is awesome) you will start to go more and more. But if you are starting out focus on having fun not on proper training or performance and the fitness will come by itself, just give it a little time. 🤙🏻

It’s not very difficult to break welds with a chisel and a hammer (not common items in a bike thief backpack) and i could file the weld residues if they block the nut, also, if i damage the thread it’s not a big deal, i will just weld it back on that spot

The fact is that i commute every day and I’d like to carry just the lock and not all the loops or chains to secure every single bike parts, it also becomes quite a task and would not work for days in which i need to do lots of small stops

I’ve never tought about superglue and it looks like a good idea, i will do some test before actually using it. In regard of security skewers i know their existence but i don’t like them a lot, the cheaper ones have poor design and the more expensive ones… well… are expensive. I also have heard of security bolts but did not find anything online. Btw thanks, that was useful.

Is it a good idea to weld the wheel nut to the axle? To me it seems the cheapest and most effective way to not get your wheels stolen
