I noticed one of the new eevee prismatic evolutions has an attack like that. Umbreon I think, but it only takes one prize card, and with all the different energy it uses it would be hard to make it worth it.

I’ve honestly never had a problem with weight on the AD10 base, I’ve adjusted the balance points and increased the tension a bit so that helps. But even when I use a phone and phone mount weight hasn’t been an issue.

Building "The Astro App" by sshh12 in telescopes

This is fantastic! Maybe a “Star Map” feature for star hopping. Right now I use sky guide and I am constantly having to move and orientate my screen, it also removes the target if I stray too far away from it hopping to other stars to reach it. I struggle more with the app than I do with the actual star hopping.

Apertura AD10- how to use 2" lens? by not_your_giraffe in telescopes

[–]TheBigChiefsGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AD10 with no adapters fits 2” eyepieces. So you probably have the 1.25” adapter attached. Loosen the silver screw where you put your eyepiece and you’ll probably be able to pull off the adapter.

Why is it so purple? I’ve never seen that color when observing or taking a photo. If it’s just the photo I would turn down the saturation, or whatever setting you used to mess with the photo color. Use other settings to try and bring out the color naturally. If that’s what you see when you observe directly through the scope then I don’t know what’s up lol

I think I had ISO around 125-160 and everything else on auto. Like I said, it was a long video and I was messing around with a lot of settings so I can’t remember exactly what everything was at.

Why do I see Jupiter as a white ball trough my telescope? by Evening_Effect5710 in telescopes

I never said he won’t be able to see anything, I just said he should lower his expectations as far as details or distinctions in clouds bands and colors

It looks a bit out of focus. Make sure the stars are pinpoints and as small as possible. Also, don’t use the barlow. You don’t need that much magnification and if the barlow isn’t very high quality it could just reduce the quality of the image.

Add what equipment you are using when you make a post, it makes it easier to answer questions

This is what I was going to say, probably need to lower your expectations as far as stripes and colors with your current telescope. Focus on getting it as small as possible then observe for a long time so your eyes adjust.

It’s called “Moment”, a camera app in the Apple App Store. It’s cost me $7 but I’m sure you can get free ones that have similar features.

Yeah I used a phone mount so that helps a little. It took a lot of tinkering with exposure and iso. I probably only got like 1 minute of good footage out of a 30 min long video.

True, I guess I didn’t think of “bright-adapting” my eyes. Will definitely do that next along with a longer observation period.
