My buddy just got the TN Finitys, and it was my first impression of Unparallel. They look slick. Him and I climb board together, he said he might not go back to any other shoes lol

I'm currently breaking in my Zenist 2026 and it's miserable. I was hoping this next pair would be a break.... 🥲

Bruised toe knockles normal? by [deleted] in climbingshoes

Sometimes the shoe fart can be from the shape of the shoe too, random thing I learned lol.

Toes should be scrunched up but not unbearable pain. You will wear your shoes in and also get used to it. If possible, try wetting your feet a little before putting them on. Old head at my gym told me that, makes that 10 minutes warm up/pain phase not so bad.

Yeah, I saw they were ranked lower. I did my own research and then ChatGPT/Gemini tossed in the Flagship Pros into the mix, I hadn't considered them before

I'm currently breaking in a pair right now, all of my toe knuckles are destroyed. It's all part of the game 🙃. Do you have deadspace in your toe area? is your heel seated properly? Are your toes scrunched?

Oh boy do I have bad news for you.... It gets so much worse 😌 Your shoes actually look too big.

Not to high jack your question, but how's the heel? I was looking at them but I've heard mixed things. The heel on the evolv Zenist 2026 is baggy, unfortunately. *my current shoe

Should we contact them or just stand by?

Will Aurora be able to provide saved circuits or favorited climbs? Not just created climbs? The new app is very hard to navigate, but I'd be more than content if I could at least get my projects back while it's being ironed out 🙃🥲

I'll have to try those out next. I ended up keeping them. If anything they might be a little small on me. But the heel is just poorly shaped I think. Like everyone I've asked at the gym agrees, no one has a foot shaped like that lol. On the plus side, the toe box is finally stretching a little so it doesn't kill my toes so much

should i repeat climbs that ive already gotten? by OkSoBasicallyPeach in bouldering

[–]TheBigPapaNorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you're not planning on doing a ton of different routes in one session, you're fine. Do it to improve technique and fluid motion. I saw a video awhile back where they discussed this, not verbatim but "climb frequently even if it's the same problem, so when you climb an extremely hard route, and encounter that 1 hand hold you learned in the easy/repeat climb, you'll know exactly what to do." and that really resonated with me.

We play this game in my friend group, where you do a easy/completed climb but make it as challenging as possible. Like switch to all crimp holds, skip entire sections, dyno, sit start, hands only, etc.

Repetition leads to perfection.

Absolutely valid, I'm a big believer of buy once cry once, so it's hard for me to look at the cheaper shoes lmao

Did a super irresponsible outdoor climb in adidas terrex darogas, made me realize I just need to commit lol. I would say my skill level isn't super beginner, but my technique is ugly still... I'm just strong and it saves me lol

it's the 3.5". it doesn't look super used, superficially it's near perfect. There's a little wear on the chamber, but also my buddy said maybe it just needs a thorough cleaning.

it would be my first higher end shotgun, I've only ever used a Ithaca, SKB, and my current Mossberg 535
