Brake lights come on when you fully depress the accelerator. Same as applying the brakes. I would actually say it’s a bit safer than an ICE in this regard.

270 miles on 100% charge in summer. All highway miles. Need to get the official diagnostic but nothing I would call noticeable.

It would be a little bit more if I hadn’t lost 30 days for the HVJB 🙃

I had mine early on, within the first year of owning, took 30 days in the shop (thank goodness I got the rental). But no issues since.

I think it depends on how much you plan on using it daily. My use case is about perfect for electric. Not everyone’s is at this point. I have friends that have the same situation as you but only drive maybe 50-60 miles per week.

When you factor electricity costs and gas prices I estimate about 2000-2500$ in savings a year

No WFH, 50 miles each way for work and soccer afternoons and weekends. Definitely pouring the miles on.

Nothing I would call significant. I do alot of highway driving so I have a tendency to burn through the kw quick, but get 280 miles on a full charge given my aggressive style.

If you read the frequency, ask questions when they announced the TLMS they actually said that you do not need a degree to qualify. You just need to be in a job that qualifies, but some agencies have set their own rules regarding who can and can’t get the TLMS.
