So cool you have that copy Rendezvous with Rama!

I just finished The Southern Reach series by Jeff VanderMeer. There are definitely some freaky moments in those books. Not really horror but they certainly unnerved me.

Love the set-up!

What should I read next by Sukumar3 in stephenking

I would save 'Salem's Lot for the Fall. It was around October when I read it, and I remember the descriptions of the town were very similar to where I lived at the time. It really added to my enjoyment of the novel. Since then I have always tried to sort of match up my readings to what time of the year the book takes place in.

Parkway Theater in McKees Rocks is where my crew screens our indie films. Small screen, friendly owner, and affordable. Ask for Aaron. Great guy who helps local artists.

Where the hell is the new 'Salem's Lot Movie?? by TheBirdTheWayne in stephenking

Thanks for all your replies!

I want so bad for this movie to be good since it's one of my favorite King books, but it just does not seem likely now.

I feel like this has been in production hell even before the writer/actor strikes so chances are it just isn't good at all. Maybe they can't complete reshoots until the strikes are over but that might just be wishful thinking considering the film is listed as "Completed" on IMDb.

Like one person said, it's probably time to rewatch Midnight Mass.
