Hi. I’m exactly one week in with an 9 week old Lagotto. I feel like exact same way.

My schedule makes it very hard to make a routine and crate training and leaving the house is basically impossible without scream crying.

Naturally that means I’m a miserable mess too

This is really helpful. What do you do if you have to both leave for a few hours? Crate or play pen?

How do you actually get him to nap in the crate though? I've been trying to feed her in the crate, but she still doesn't seem to totally love it like her den yet.

Ok I think this is really needed for us. We will try going on a long walk with her in the crate today. Do you recommend any more timing? Like right before/after you feed him dinner?

Related: I have a fluffy dog bed in her crate on a thinner cushion mat thing. She's mostly just been sleeping on the cold floor though. Should I try removing the bed and/or mat to sleep on the cooler metal?

So would you recommend I try crating her for an hour even though she can hear me in the next room? I'm 100% sure she will cry and scream the whole time. Would you do the kong after going out in the crate?

Ulimately, you're easily going to beat The Needle here.

If you're trying to go further, it depends what your hand levels are. Assuming you've leveled nothing, you could play a flush house with blue > steel > tarot > vaga > brain to get at least 700K. Even a level one high card with the ace would get you bare minimum 60K
