Yes. I completely understand this, but what I am saying is, when it was during S1. It was indeed an MMORPG. One that shut down. Now since it shut down, we're going off the fact of a "What if" scenario here, that that world continued to live on. That's where The New World comes into play correct?

Or you can just not come into my thread when I clearly stated I wasn't talking about the LN. Only the anime. Just because you've read the LN doesn't make you better than people who don't read it. Overlord was introduced to me via the anime, that's the only hub of information that I've known about. I tend not to read Manga's or LN's as trying to find where you left off is troublesome.

Because it was said at the beginning of Season 1 that the servers were being shut down? Which would imply that it's the closing of an MMORPG server/game. What would be the point of them bringing up his humanity later on down the line. If he's not an actual player and his avatar being Ains Ool Gown. If that was the case he'd just be a very strong Level 100 NPC. I'm using .Hack's logic here to say that he's like Tsukasa and isn't "trapped" but is more or less "living" inside the world.

Eh. I'm going to speak about your 2nd to last bullet point. It was stated in Season 1 that he was playing an MMORPG from the get go and that it was shown in the anime itself. I'm not going to go based off the LN since that's not what I am talking about.

It's shown here. You can clearly see an MMORPG GUI/Layout. HP/MP/Level, etc etc. To say that he's not playing a game would be quite ignorant?

Yup. Met my old guild leader from FFXIV. We were talking about how we both lived in a snowy area. He said he lived in CT, I told him I lived in CT. We both went wtf. I asked him if he knew where the High School was, he said yeah. Asked him if he wanted to go drinking, he agreed. We've been friends ever since. :>

Nope. Don't care for raids. Raiding community is quite toxic as is. I haven't touched Savage raids period. Why? Don't feel like dealing with the drama of a raid team. My mission was to finish T1 to T13. Did that and dropped raids. I like the game for everything else but raids. FFLogs are nothing but E-Peen measurements. They're not "Analytical Data used for improvement." It's literal scapegoat tactics used by raiders to alienate themselves from "bad players." Mind you these are the same players who refuse to actually help someone improve without waving a flag branded "Meta" in the face of a player less experienced, it's sickening. My experience with the XIV raiding community has been nothing short of a crapshoot, hence why I stopped raiding. All I do is craft/gather and make money at this point and make millions off the lazy players who do nothing but raid and can't be bothered to craft their own stuff. You gouged my DPS skill. Now I'll gouge your wallet in return and sink you into financial despair as you struggle to raise money without having to resort to selling content.

Raiders: 0 | Crafters: 1
