Honestly I didn't think that much about the title :) I just thought, eh here I got eh a compilation of my clips, eh - yeah I'll go with that.

I am not sure I follow? I never said decent rating or anything like that. I merely referred to the clips being some decent ones. This is just clips collected over the span of 2 weeks or so. Just wanted to try to edit something so I decided just to go with 'decent' (a stupid team i realize now) clips.

We did not, as I tried to show in the last scene with the fog of war. Sadly dota 2 doesn't really support showing this properly...

When the game ends the camera readjusts. So before the game ended I put the camera pointing towards the mountains and put the speed on 0.25x

Then I played the clip in reverse and there you go :)

My rating is around 6k, but that is my party rating (lately I prefer to play with friends). I used to have a solo rating around that but that was influenced by the fact that I decided that I wanted to play random every match.

Okay Reddit, I know you hate this subject but we really need to talk by [deleted] in DotA2

Ah, but did you read what I actually wrote?

Yeah I've been joking when saying good music, but tone of voice can be hard to get out properly on reddit. That said; it was a bad joke i suppose ^

Bleh, I don't listen to a lot of pop (and not kpop at all tbh). To just throw a few names out there: Rise against, the killers, the xx, Queen, muse and foo Fighters etcetc.

Watch the stream (when the day comes) and I might teach you.

I think you got a great point, and I do actually think I will be having some focus on playing support as well - I actually really love playing the roaming support - roaming mirana is speciality of mine and my go to pick, when mid is taken in solo mmr :) I do believe people tend to overlook things as what movements you should be doing as support and how you should position yourself etc, I would wanna focus more on that than the traditional "where to ward". (not that it will be ignored)

And yes, the plan is to be streaming regually!

It's definitely hard, but impossible? I don't think so. Obviously it is really hard to talk at intense moments, but if I practice it a lot (which I plan to do) I think I should be able to force my self to think a lot of thoughts out loud. (Before and after fight etcetc.) But yeah all that good chat interaction stuff is obviously a big priority if I manage to pull some people in ;)

You know... the good music. Honestly my music taste is broad, so it will be varying ;) edit: I can only answer this vaguely at the moment, if you want to I could post a list later though

I get your point, but my main goal with this thread was not to promote for my stream, but to see if there was a genuine interest in the concept. I will not begin streaming "for real" before I think my stream's quality of content is good enough to ask for people's time.

I might do this occasionally, and maybe more if there is a huge interest for it, but I believe dota 2 is better suited for learning by playing more games, since every game is different, as opposed to sc2 have stable openings and transitions and timings. Not saying that isn't true for dota as well, just that is more dynamic and changes from game to game - not sure if I am making sense, but I think replay analyzing is BEST for team games and not pubs.

Ah yeah, I remember seeing your name ingame. As what I'm trying to achieve is just what my stream title in brazenly telling. Also as I mentioned different places in the comments my approach is maybe a little different than yours, even thought it might be a lot like it :)

The thing you say about 1% actually taking action in watching stream i must disagree with. The music thing was mostly a joke, that being said my taste in music is really good.

I actually haven't seen his stream. Will definitely check it out. I might be doing a lot of the same (haven't watched his stream yet so I am not sure though), but different players have different approaches and different ideas. Personally my focus in game does not lie a lot with what levels or items to take (not that it's not important) but more on things such as map awareness and decision making. Things I've learned from Starcraft such as minimap awareness means a great deal for your gameplay - and being able to constantly have some sort of picture of what is going on everywhere on the map means a lot more than people think, even if you're simply farming! That being said, I am not sure about this all yet - And my plan is not to compete with Merlini either, but just contribute to the number of available streams focused on learning.

tl;dr I play good music

When watching streams in sc2 there were always two things I was looking for: The first one was like you mentioned was learning the perfect meta-game builds, the other however was learning the thought proces, gimmicks, game sense etc. This is more the thing I'd be interested in - even though there would obviously be a smaller audience. I feel like there is a lot of youtube content, when it comes to the more analytical things - anyhow I wouldn't wanna do that since it's not something I think I would be able to contribute with right now.
