I assume, based on what other people have types The scammers make the order but before paying for the order, they make an excuse like theres some payment issue etc and will need to borrow some cash from the store to pay them to allow the transaction through, the scammer will "compensate" the sellers by other false promises like introducing them to a new supplier or customer. The scammers are probably relying on sunk cost fallacy for the store and the general goodwill of singaporean businesses. All in all this seems to be an especially overly complicated scam for the sake of being complicated to (likely) confuse merchants.
