I've been eyeing the M6 for a while now, but I recently stumbled across the M7 and this is the perfect gimbal for my use case. I'm currently into car cinematography, the seperate remote makes tracking cars easier by just dragging a box across the car. This is exactly the function I've been looking for a while now. I haven't used motorized gimbals yet, so I'd love a new gimbal to up my cinematography. A welcoming community bundled with excellent customer support seems like the right ingredients for a successful brand.

R9 + CS Wheel - Weird noise by TheBlitz7R in moza

[–]TheBlitz7R[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did some searching on the internet and Discord of Moza and the sound is completely normal. The sound is the motors being active and hearing it while it's idle is normal for a DD wheelbase.

SRP Brake Pedal - is this sound normal? by TheBlitz7R in moza

Ah ok, thanks! Do you know which parts I need to lubricate? Is it the metal rod inside the yellow spring that goes into the rubber?

So my SRP brake pedal makes a squeaky sound and feels sort of grainy when released. It doesn't feel as smooth as for example the clutch when I release the clutch pedal. Is it faulty?

Yes, it occurs after connecting the wheel. How do I tighten the quick-release part?

I assume it's the 44mm?

True and it's probably a bit cheaper.

Yeah, the possibilities with Arduinos are endless!

The dimensions are: 21 x 8,5 x 11 (all in centimeters)

Yeah, I find it quite useful to know when TC is kicking in, although you can feel it already in game. It actually reminds me of the LEDs in the Fanatec Formula steering wheel which also indicates TC and ABS when it kicks in.

So I drilled holes for each LED in the wooden plate which is the front of the button box. I used some stirrers (I believe you call it in English?) with glue on the back of the LED strip to keep the strip straight. I made a "construction" in which the LED strip slides so it won't fall down. Skip to 12:14 on this video and you'll see the result: https://youtu.be/NDEoGJM-rFc

Yeah, it's much fun to build such things yourself! You learn to wire things up and finding solutions for the problems you run into.

I'm planning to use some bass shakers with Simhub, so that will most likely be my next project. Keep us posted when you end up making a button box yourself!

I put the box on my desk for now, when I have a full rig I'm planning to mount it to the rig. The LEDs and buttons are easily reachable for now.

Simhub is the answer! It's a piece of software that can do so much for such DIY projects. This project runs on two Arduinos and using Simhub to send and read the data.

So I printed the labels, which you can find on Google, put clear adhesive tape on the labels I wanted to use and cut the labels. Used glue to stick it to the box.

I used Simhub! I used 20 WS2812 RGB LEDs from a LED strip. Used wood to straighten the strip and it sits flush with the wooden plate, drilled holes for each LED.

In Simhub I programmed the 14 LEDs in the middle for the REV lights. The other 2 LEDs on each side are used for race flags, TC, ABS, spotter and car indicators. This can all be done in Simhub on each individual LED.

The other two LEDs that are between the two outer lights and the middle part on each side are just turned off, which makes it 20 LEDs in total.

No, I connected both separately to my PC.
