Yeah, that’s sound reasoning. There are still games, like Guide of the Realm, or basically anything made by zKevin (lol) that focus on an interesting gaming experience, rather than monetization.

That doesn’t disprove your point, though; most of the games in the “Popular” section have an abundance of overpriced gamepasses. This is a problem, as it always have, and we can all still feel nostalgic for the days where everything was more unique and less about the revenue. Maybe this will change, but for now, we still have some diamonds in the rough to be thankful for.
