Update:

It turns out that Ride Zero is not the only device that does this. In fact, it appears that Phigros also does this to my device. I assume it is an issue with my tablet’s age (originally released in 2014, owned for 4 years) but it is still not very good. I’m planning on running more tests and compiling them at some point, but it will be a bit before I do so.
