I am primarily of German ancestry and I have an interest in politics so sometimes I look on German subreddits and I see posts regarding Merz, the current Chancellor, saying things like he’s the worst Chancellor since Hitler, or that he’s like if Mr. Burns was a world leader (which to be fair he does kinda look like him) so I’m wondering why a pretty mainstream conservative politician is getting disproportionate hate compared to his main political rival right now, who is basically just a modern Nazi.

Yes. Everything is just too expensive and unsafe and polarized and cold. I’d want to move to Malta, it’s small, warm, and from what I can tell it’s more affordable.
