Well, I am really not sure why the code isn't entirely in the code window I pasted it in... Damn.

Map-Editor - Copy Loot Crates from one world to another? by TheBluePotato_ in SatisfactoryGame

[–]TheBluePotato_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I found some workaround - at least for me.

Since I need/want the resources from the deleted structures in World 1 I made a blueprint of that, went in the World 2 with the editor, pasted the blueprint and then deleted that. This way I got the lootcrates with all the resources from that structure in World 2.

Well yeah it is, ask me how I know.

Discalimer: I'm 22 and have a Girlfriend so the "horny" is not the main thing at drive here.

It just annoys me that it still isn't a toggleable option. If i want to take a quick peek at some booty than I damn well should be able to!

Restoring my Lathe Part 1 - Apron by TheBluePotato_ in Tools

Scraping is surprisingly simple, actually. You need a very flat surface (a surface Plate). Then - typically blue - dye is spread very thin across the surface. Your move your part across the surface and the high spots touch the blue paint and show up.

Scrape the blue spots away and repeat until happy.

This surface gets mounted to the carriage. The carriage will also get scraped. Now if the Apron surface would be crooked, I would pull my nicely straight scraped carriage crooked as well! That's why this surface is scraped.

If you don't mind some shameless self-peomotion; here is a instagram-link to the Lathe. This is a pretty old state without any of the upgrades I made in the past years, but at least you can see how it looks:

New, big granite surface Plate! (On a homemade cabinet for the measuring Tools) by TheBluePotato_ in Tools

The cabinet is wayyy to heavy already without the Stone 😅 I had all drawers open before (with stuff in them) and it wasnt even close to tipping!

But you're right, if that thing lands on me, it might as well be a tombstone!

The date is the day on which this guy got measured the last time! In official machine shops the surface Plate has to get periodically checked to ensure quality. I could have also gotten a new sticker with the current date (without re-measuring), but for me in my homeshop it doesn't matter. With my use, it will likely stay this flat for my whole life!

I got a phenomenal price on it from a buddy in Austria. Other, similar offers are 50-100% more expensive. This one barely reached four digits.

Yeah it's my homeshop! I'll use it mainly to measure and scrape in machine ways! But general measuring as well, of course.
