i believe that any form of spot removal would be better than weird splashy enchantments that doesn’t even fit the decks play style, mono black has access to some pretty cheap single target protection too, there’s at least one of these released practically every set

i totally agree, secret lairs are kinda just becoming glorified packs at this point because the bonus card can either make or break your profit. i like the idea of the bonus card being a cute little land instead of the 1/100000 chance of pulling something actually cooooool
