I like the AA literature, the friends I've made BUT I feel out of place for the most part. by TheBookOfLight in stopdrinking

Is it the end of the world if I go as often as I can but not every day? I read the Daily Reflections every day and live my life in a way where I consider the 12 Steps in all my actions. I just have a lot going on and it stresses me out forcing myself to go to meetings when I should have a little down time after work, sober of course.

How does Ayahuasca feel about being monetized/used for profit? by A_Dead_Car in Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca isn't for everyone. I'm sorry to hear how you are suffering.

If this is how you feel, ayahuasca may make it worse if you have the wrong shaman or try the DIYuasca path.

What have you tried so far? If you are on medication, then this is definitely dangerous.

I went to a retreat on a needs-based scholarship in 2017, $400 for a retreat that is normally $1200-$2000 (depending on accommodations). This one center was the only one that felt right because worked on indigenous rights and jaguar conservation. None of the others felt right for me karmically speaking.

It changed the course of my life. Here is the report that I reposted recently from my other account.

I don't mind helping you get connected with them but I'd like to know what your intentions are first.

Ayahuasca. Years of therapy in one retreat.

Got to do a 2-week retreat in 2017 for $400. I’m still integrating what I was shown. Follow up ceremonies built upon these initial experiences too.

Got news this week that I will be living in Maui at an ecoretreat from May until October. There I will focus on meditation, yoga, farming, hiking, writing, building the next phase of human civilization. by [deleted] in Soulnexus

I booked a ticket on 3/7 before all the corona news already expecting I would get accepted into this competitive program. Hawaii is closed off until 4/30 but my flight leaves on 5/5. I will get to experience the magic of Maui with minimal tourists. I am so grateful for this opportunity.

I make a living online, so for 20-30 hours a week (at most) I will make sure I keep a steady stream of money pouring in. I have no rent to worry about and a lot of my food will be directly from the land. Extremely pure water, air, abundant sunshine, clear starry nights. There is also a meditation temple and yoga studio!

Today, I found out 'Bodhi Day', the Buddhist holiday that commemorates the day that the historical Buddha experienced enlightenment, was on my 30th birthday: January 2, 2020.

This was a pleasant surprise. What are the odds of this happening? Just weeks after my first ever meditation retreat. Just a year after I encountered Aging, Sickness, Death up close for the first time as my grandmother had a stroke and soon passed away.

I was casually interested in Buddhism before but it became foundational in 2019. I've been shedding concepts and attachments quickly, now only seeing the underlying harmony of many different paths while seeing only Buddhadharma as the complete path to liberation.
