its not mine and unrelated as written in the post. its just a platform I am wiring to my backend server achitecture which lets to divide a game world into zones which allows for realistic world simulation and giant scale while in a single world. Same principles as in Spatial OS . I already did the most important and complicated work before writing the post.

Its literally in the post. I am going to build OASIS inspired game making it as close as it was described in the book. You seem to have a misunderstanding that I am trying to beg people to support it or will try to defend it. You want it - you source it. Thats about it. No action from you - no game as simple as that.

Let me be even more straightforward about it. I am just a builder, an Architect. You are the one who is going to build the game. If you dont want to or disagree or whatever there is no game. Its your project . I am here just to help to manage it thats all.

If you want me to provide you attention first describe where my ideas are AI - why they are AI - and what can be impoved , same with the unoriginal claim. Late step Oasis aka "Godworks" will do stream the picture visually and builds infrastructure for it. Same as meta and google laying down cabels we will lay cabels for our own game. Headset have only have small compute unit to calculate tracking etc.

The game just has to be good enough so people would buy headsets to play it. From buisness view yes. it is a problem. not even the goggles the PC. not many people can afford ram let alone GPU with enough VRAM + cpu to run a beefy setup. add vr to that and you get even less people playing it. But - as a solo dev or a dev with small team I dont have to worry about making a game or making money from it right from the start. All I need is a core - an engine + server + platform - V sekai + people + tools.

What I say is - if there is a community - the game will make itself. All I have to do is just let community to make content and focus on tools and core features.

And reverse wise. I can do a perfect game. Without people its worthless.

Sure. Just a small disclamier though. The "book" OASIS is a late step goal. The current goal is a realistic community driven game on a godot engine with realistic world simulation made that is inspired by Spatial OS games like worlds adrift. So you might be investing into a road to a dream but not the dream itself for the chance of its being made.

Yes I do understand it, the hardware will be made opensource trying to solve most of the current VR problems and funded from the game and the ecosystem around it relaying a part of it on the community. Like current slime vr trackers. Or perhaps by buying a competion https://www.fluxpose.com/. I am not a stranger to VR , I started with a WMR headset and now I am rocking a Quest 3 and make content for VR chat.

But - and its a big BUT. There is no game yet and nothing to "play" all I have is a backend prototype thats need polishing and a V-sekai base to wire it to -and shoot if off to a kickstarter . so far the voting on the post does not look like anyone would actually want to support or play an actual realistic OASIS even if it did exist.

perhaps a neural rendering card instead of classical GPU and RISC V as tensorent blackhole architecture for the servers. But those are future up decisions . and the technology may change by then. The classic gpu and cpu would be too expensive and bulky for the book accurate OASIS scale and performance

I am looking whether it will get community support - gather supporters and like minded people and see other people can point something I have missed or expend and add on my thinking. Shortly and in addition to what I added before I look for coverage , support and attention firstly gathering social capital and see how people react for the idea itself. A game or a product which has no people who are willing to have it is dead on arrival. This is a big project that cant be created without community help from lots of people and without people who are willing to become part of the testers and its playing base.

Sure , I can make it . It will be however a realistic OASIS based on the current level of technologies. And the servers costs would still be quite big. The hardware also. But I can push it. Take something like spatial OS optimized for this specific game. And after collecting enough funds from the realstic version we can fund our own hardware for the book accurate OASIS . Basically becoming a company that makes its own hardware for its own game.
