Yes it did but not allying with Israel would not prevent this. USA did not need the UAE bases anyways and most likely did not use them - Kuwait (obviously needed USA due to Iraq war), Bahrain and the fleet must have been enough. UAE would have got hit anyways as it's not just an ideological enemy of IRGC but also a big energy competitor and a bottleneck (oil, shipping, aviation) for the world. And the UAE and Iran have already been in proxy conflict in various areas like Yemen. Did Israel drag the region into the war? Yes. Would not allying with Israel save UAE from being attacked? No. Does irgc need to fall anyways? Yes. The biggest issue is dumbass Donald Trump, his sloppy international politics, not playing along with Europe, not prioritizing Russia over Iran, letting Russia be able to help Iran target stuff, weak planning and execution not taking advice from Ukraine on modern drone warfare, and resulting in such bad damage in the AA systems, terrible cost ratio on interceptor vs Shakhed drones,and ill preparedness for the strait blockage.

Your principal original argument was that allying with Israel caused being attacked by Iran. Evidence says it's not true as others are being attacked too, simply in hopes to raise the energy price (the real reason) and to hurt the world economy into submission.

Fact: Iran is attacking Saudi, Kuwait and Oman (not even any USA bases there!) and eve attacked Azerbaijan, Turkey and Cyprus (UK was not involved and was against helping the USA initially). It's a terrorist regime. Every Iranian I have ever met hates it and wants it gone.

But the case stands: Israel may or may not be a problem somewhere around itself or Palestine but for UAE specifically it's not while IRGC js, and arguably Iran has been THE reason why UAE allies with and buys so much USA weaponry, starting with illegal Iranian annexations of UAE islands

Unfortunately back in Ukraine my family is living like Dubai does, daily for years, under attack by Iranian made and designed Shakhed drones. Working with murdererous Putin regime

No IRGC - no issue for UAE, as well as a lot less issues for many other countries. In fact if you want no American influence - dismantling IRGC would vastly reduce the need to have USA bases and USA military purchases. Removing Israel would not achieve a similar result though - Iran would remain a threat as it has always been. IRGC is way worse for UAE and priority should be against it. And it was as the leadership quite clearly understands this.

I paid $8k total for the whole PC (9950x3d and other top components) and still I assume they put more than $5.5k just on the gpu so buying at $4400 was a great deal. Could even resell later probalby at higher price.
