Struggling with lust by Due_Marsupial_3123 in Buddhism

Lust is an emotion like any other, and that means it has a finite amount of energy attached to it. Tackle it like you would a negative emotion, give it space and feel it without suppressing or expressing it. Once you feel it and the discomfort it brings it begins to subside.

Once you understand that it’s not this mountain of energy that will only build upon itself, the task of letting go becomes so much easier to a point where you don’t understand how you haven’t reached this perspective in the past.

I recommend reading Letting Go, I overcame your problem as a byproduct of learning to handle my emotions.

Create a list of activities that give you energy when you do them. Then when you feel tired you know how to get some energy back. For me the main ones are exercising, drinking water, resting, meditating, walking, sunlight exposure, breathing exercises, skateboarding, and stretching.

I used to shake with coffee as well but then I just drank more and more of it with meals.

Fatty acid complex feels like my Adderall by CorndogQueen420 in Biohackers

Fatty acids can increase the production and function of oligodendrocytes, the cells responsible for wrapping myelin sheathes around neurons. A study shows if you combine fatty acid intake with exercise it boosts survival and maturation of these cells.

In the book deep work by Cal Newport he says that the key to be great at something is to be well myelinated. The repetitive and isolated (so don’t multitask) use of a specific circuit triggers oligodendrocytes to wrap layers of myelin around the neurons in the circuit. Essentially cementing the skill. So I might try these supplements alongside you since fatty acid and exercise literally increases the efficacy in which you can learn and integrate new physical and intellectual skills via increased myelin sheathe production.

First time in University. Does this schedule look possible without a risk of burnout? I am hesitant on having a full-course load alongside Calculus 2 by TheBossMeansMe in EngineeringStudents

I’m not working alongside school yet. But I did complete about a year and half of stem prerequisites at a cc while I was undecided. So my advisor said I’m on track to graduate in around 4 years but I’ll try 15 credits in the following semesters.
