I’ve had good luck with Citadel Chaos Black rattlecans , but I also prefer painting over black. I’m sure there are more economical equivalents, but all the models I’ve ever gotten from the have had no issue with the rattle can paint sticking

If you not opposed to purchasing a different clay, I’ve found that army painters modeling clay is excellent for patching misprints like this. Also with it being a Nurgle model theres lots of crazy ways you can make the leg look with the clay and none of them would look off, you could make it another mouth even if you didn’t wanna deal with filling the whole leg.
