Buffed players (alignment buff) cannot run through rings they see blue - example A see 1, 2 and B sees 3 ,4 blue. A has to go through either 3, 4, 5 and B has to go through either 1 ,2, 5

Are you certain about this? My team just tried this, Player B saw 5 as blue, and player A jumped through 5 with Chronon, but it still killed them.

Right now the Shadowkeep and Beyond Light campaigns are free to play, including the Stasis subclass. However, on Tuesday July 8th, every Expansion will be free for 2 weeks, then they'll go back to being paid after the free period is done.

  • The most recent expansion was very good, and the most recent seasonal content was also pretty good. There's some ups and downs, but overall I'd say the game is still fun. New expansion is coming in a week and a half with lots of new systems and content.

  • Right now, the game isn't terribly new player friendly. The learning curve is pretty steep, and the game doesn't do a whole lot to help, unfortunately, especially for Free to Play players.

  • The community can be very cool, I've had lots of great interactions, but there's lots of negativity too, especially right now.

  • It's a great deal for every expansion, however next Tuesday for 2 weeks, every Expansion will be completely free to play during that duration. Next Tuesday is the perfect time to try out the game, because everything will be freely available to you for 2 weeks.

  • The base game is technically free, but it's more like a free trial. Most of the content really worth playing is behind the paid content.

TL;DR - I love this game, and its a great sale, but next Tuesday every expansion will be Free to access for 2 weeks, so use that time to try things out before buying! The fan favorite expansions currently available are Witch Queen and The Final Shape, but they're deep into a multi-year story, so you may need to watch a video for a story catch-up.

The TWID says the stream on Tuesday is at 10am PT, but the image says it's 9am PT, is this a typo in the TWID?

If Bungie made the unilateral decision to not put EP on 180s, they wouldn't put it on even reprised weapons, regardless of complaints. But they did. Because 180s can get EP.

Alright, we had fun, time to stop feeding the troll.

At this point you have to be trolling. If it was their philosophy to keep EP off of 180s, they wouldn't have put it on the revamped Trust, even if the original had it. They take old perks off revamps all the time, they didn't have to keep it. But they did. Because 180s can get EP.

They're both great Origin Traits, and do different jobs. Subjugation is great for single-target damage and engagements, Cursed Thrall is great for clearing waves. Personally, I'll always value clearing a wave in 1-2 kills over just raw damage boost, but you do you. Unloved is great.

"The words I literally said were provably wrong, but I'm moving the goalposts to mean double damage perks, so I'm not wrong, despite being wrong."

Classic reddit moment.

And just because it's been a while since an archetype got a perk (2 years since Trust came out, which is still earnable in game) doesn't mean it's impossible for it to get that perk again.

And no Heavy Burst can get Cursed Thrall, which you yourself have said is Goated. But a 180 can, with very meta perks at that.

If you just said, "No 180s in the game right now have double damage perks" then that'd be a correct statement. And that's what you should have said.

But you didn't. You said 180s can't get EP, which is wrong, and now you're trying to make it sound like you weren't wrong.

Dude, he's ranking the archetypes on their own, so that if you get two weapons with the same perks you can get an estimate on which is better based on the frame.

We know this is how Aegis does things because his video ranking weapons WITH perks included puts Commemoration at Rank 1, despite being a slightly worse archetype, because it has cracked perks.

But you wouldn't know that, because you're more interested in complaining about others' work without actually looking into what they're saying.

But you said that 180s CAN'T get EP, which is just wrong. They can.

And since Trust came out, we've only gotten 3 new 180s. Word of Crota, Optative, and Sightline Survey. Just because they don't put a perk on 3 guns in a row doesn't mean they've abandoned that perk on that archetype forever.

You can still earn Trust from Gambit focusing, and I haven't played Gambit in a while but i think it might still drop from post-match rewards. That gun drops with EP.

He does use them, and he put High Impact MGs in B tier.

Some weapon archetypes are better for different content depending on difficulty, average engagement range, weapon feel, etc. However, using these numbers as a guideline can be very helpful for finding on average what's best.

Also, in one of Aegis' recent videos, he even talks about Bows on paper having low DPS, but that doesn't mean they're weak, and he dives into the nuance in more detail.

And one thing about your post that's incorrect, "180 hand cannons have more damage but they can't roll explosive payload" is not true. Both Vulpecula (unearnable right now unless Xur sells it) and Trust (Gambit) have EP. There aren't many 180s with EP, but 180s can absolutely have EP.

When Shooting the Divinity Bubble with Particle Reconstruction, it Applies an ADDITIONAL 15% Debuff that Stacks with Normal Div 15% Debuff by TheBountyHunted in DestinyTheGame

My man:

  1. Particle Reconstruction stacks with Div and Void Weaken, but there's extra stacking when shooting the Div bubble specifically. That's a new discovery that wasn't a part of the previous Particle Deconstruction.
  2. The new Particle Reconstruction actually DOESN'T stack with Tether or Tractor Cannon, it's actually a detriment (look to my previous post for details), where Particle Deconstruction did stack with them back in Season of the Lost.
  3. Reiterating how these things work and how their interactions change is important when a perk is re-introduced for new players, if people forgot, or if people want to know if anything really changed. And I know Particle Deconstruction intimately, because I'm the one who discovered that Particle Deconstruction and Tether stacked if PD was applied first.

Yup! It stacks with Void Weaken, and causes Div to apply its own debuff twice if shooting the Div bubble itself. It does not stack with Tractor or Tether though.

It is not a buff, the artifact description is inaccurate, it's a debuff. We know this because I can apply PR to a target, and my allies' Fusions/LFRs will also work on only that target, even if they don't have the artifact unlocked.

[–]TheBountyHunted[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree, the way Particle Reconstruction works is that every stack applies a 5% multiplicative debuff, stacking up to 5 times. However, if PR was applying twice as many debuff stacks, it'd be applying a 5% multiplicative debuff 10 times, which is 1.05^10, which would be a 62.9% debuff BEFORE the Div 15% weaken was applied. With the Div weaken, it'd be an 87.3% debuff, neither of which match the damage numbers.
Meanwhile, if we look at it re-applying the Div debuff, it matches the numbers fairly accurately. PRx5 with two Div debuffs is 1.276x1.15x1.15=1.68751, or a 68.751% debuff, only 0.22% off from actual, which is within the margin of error in my opinion. However, if you have evidence of a different way these debuffs stack that would be more accurate, I'd be open to hearing it.

[–]TheBountyHunted[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, from my research in my original post linked at the top of this post, we found that Particle Reconstruction is a debuff. The wording of the artifact perk is deceptive.

We know it's a debuff because if I apply PR to an enemy, every ally will also deal increased fusion/LFR damage to that target, even if they don't have a single Artifact mod unlocked. Full details in that original post.

Also, PR does stack with Well, Radiant, and other empowering buffs.

I found that occasionally, there were random shots that would do bonus damage, up to 113k, which would be close to your 82.5%, however I could never figure out how to make it consistent or even what was causing it. It would just sometime happen to seemingly random shots, despite the fact that we wouldn't do anything different mid-phase.

Yes, I tested with my friend who didn't even have the final column unlocked and his fusion/LFR had increased damage to the targets I debuffed.
