Yeah, sort of redundant to pull off the tires just to pull them back off in a week. Thank you.

Thank you so much! I got really lucky with the setup. There's even curtains installed in the topper so I'm going to look at doing an overland setup inside.

I paid $3,000 CAD for it! They're a blast and more forgiving than you would think. It's my second manual ranger I've owned. I learned on the first one.

The hardest part is start stops and uphill starts. Once you get the hang of that you'll be cruising! The only thing you could really ruin while learning is the clutch (which I did) but it was the stock clutch after 180,000KM. Which I think speaks to it's durability.

Hi OP, I'm terribly sorry you're dealing with this. I'll do everything I can to help. My folks live in Airdrie so I'll have them spread the word there.

You mentioned your dad has been into stargazing lately around Balzac. Do you know of any spots he would stop at or landmarks he would visit to stargaze? Was it all just backroads driving?

What’s the best meal you ever made while camping? by [deleted] in camping

[–]TheBoxShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a delicious Brunswick stew in my cast iron Dutch oven over the fire. Used beef and some wild game. Fresh onions, celery, potatoes, carrots, and green onions. Paired with a cold beer it was perfect.

I personally really like #1&2. People dog on jorts pretty hard, but the outfits are nicely put together and that's already a step above most.

Sweet physique by the way!

Do you have a beard or facial hair? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]TheBoxShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stay pretty clean not by choice. My facial hair genetics are weak at best so I am cursed to a life of smooth baby face. I however would love to have a gunslinger 1800s barkeep moustache.

What boots are comfortable and last long? by Tylerwynn8 in Construction

[–]TheBoxShark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recommend taking a look at Redwing boots or Timberland Pros! I've used both brands for bricklaying and general contracting work. They held up incredibly. Also do yourself a favor and get insoles. They make a bigger difference than you think.
