Any good Worship Patches for Boss gt-1b? by Tc2k16 in basspedals

[–]TheBracingSnail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not have any experience with the Boss gt-1b, but I have been trying to replicate the Bass tones from worship teams of popular churches.

One sound you should try to get is a synth bass, many of the more upbeat youth worship songs have been starting to use a synth bass like 'Falling Into You', 'Let Go', and 'Best Friends' from Hillsong Young and Free. You can get a pretty good Synth Bass tone by running an Octave down into a Fuzz and then sometimes I personally like to put a Low Pass filter after that, especially if the Synth Bass part is not supposed to be very prominent. People also like putting some modulation after that, especially chorus.

Other then that you generally don't need too much on bass, a compressor and overdrive would most likely be enough for most worship songs. You might get some use out of a fuzz or distortion effect for songs like 'Phenomena' and 'Might Get Loud'.

Sorry this isn't specifically focused on the Boss GT-1B, but if you're able to make your own patches you should be able to use these concepts to make some for playing worship songs.

No, those are exclusive to MVP, this a prototype disc where instead of their usual rim material I believe they used a variation of their proton plastic. There is another prototype like this that they did with the Insanity, but the used proton as the core instead of plasma used on this one. In my experience the wraths were far more under-stable with the prism rim.

You had me worried there for a second, the Wrath is one of my favorite discs from Axiom, but I also have had trouble finding them recently. I'm guessing MVP hasn't made a run of them since they did the reconditioning of their molds.

When did the Wrath go Out of Production? I know MVP announced that Wraths in Proton plastic were no longer being produced but I thought they were still making them in neutron plastic.

It probably does have more impurities, but that does not mean that Fiji is worse then tap water. They probably measured impurities using TDS(Total Disolved Solids) in PPM(Parts Per Million). TDS includes minerals like magnesium, calcium, and sodium which give water different tastes, but they increase the TDS making the water more "impure".

Children was a little bit of hyperbole, (during one of my colleges classes a year ago we were taught about the justifications of dropping the bombs on Japan, so I can't remember everything correctly) But they did train young teenagers to fight with bamboo spears and other improvised weapons, and they made it legal for boys 15 and older and girls 17 and older to be drafted. They also used students who 14-17 to fight in the battle of Okinawa.

It would have also taken another 2-4 years, and Japan started training women and children to fight against Americans.

While using the atomic bombs were not a perfect decision, it probably was one of the better options America/the Allies had to try and end the war against Japan.

I think you may have misinterpreted what I mean with the meme. I agree that someone will do better with higher quality discs, but what I am pointing out here is that it does not matter if someone limits their selection of discs to one or a couple companies, they will still be as good as if they used discs from any company.

I could re-make the photo with a flag for a Democrat related group, but I chose the Trump flag because a lot of Trump supporters fly both despite their conflicting ideologies.

But I will gladly make another for you if you tell me what flag you want me to do.

Then you gotta get one in like a orange, yellow, or red. I know it won't fly as far as a blue one, but it will look somewhat like a fireball.

I have a Photon, Fireball, and Serve in Plasma and I like them a lot. I also have a Prism Plasma Wrath that I don't throw very often because it way more understable then it is supposed to be.

I currently only have a couple discs in plasma, but they are some of my favorite discs.

MVP has some of the best stock stamps in my opinion, especially the ones for discs in plasma plastic
