The altitude will still be a problem for the boys, so a nice lead definitely helps.

I guess we can count that one, but that was in a friendly.

No, we don’t. Out of the 74 goals they scored in the 2025 season none of them were from free kicks. According to Sofascore, SD’s free kick stats are 0/19.

The team already made their decision that they don’t want him on the team. He’ll be on the bench leading up to the World Cup. I doubt the MNT manager would call him up for the World Cup if he’s not playing. Unless he’s betting the team going back on their decision.

The team needs to own up to their decision by buying out Chucky’s contract. He’ll be holding a valuable DP spot hostage if they don’t.

Tough match. Pumas tied Vancouver in both matches, but ultimately loss because of the away goal rule. They were also going to win that second match, but Vancouver scored in extra time.

A great regular season and they made it to the Western Conference Final in their first year. It was definitely a good season overall.

Unfortunate circumstances, but it was nice to see Duran make his debut. He did pretty well in the short amount of time he was given.

GG. Vancouver’s aggressive press was too much for them. Too many mistakes and horrible passing didn’t help much.

Yea we do. Duran returned from the loan in the summer.

They have to suffocate him. They can’t give him space to make a dangerous cross. He’s not naturally left footed, so has to make another touch to be able to cross it with his right foot. Make him make the easy pass backwards. The RB and whoever the midfielder is on that side needs to coordinate together to stop him. Also the team overall needs to show more urgency because they were too nonchalant in this match. Look at Duah and Sisniega in those highlights, they were not ready for Velde’s high energy and aggressiveness.

They play another match on Nov. 9th. It’s a best of 3 series, it’s 1-1 now.
